Man I wish I could pull that line on my customers but they're all a bunch of whiny dicks who would email our owners complaining. I just walk away as soon as I see that twinkle in the eye that means some random wants to talk about tattoos with me.

A little clarification to my previously blunt post- the execution of the tattoo is more than acceptable. there's clean linework and shading. the style is what I have issues with. the blue tribal wave background stuff takes away from the tattoo in my opinion. I second the other LSTers opinions though that if you put a bunch of other tattoos around it you won't even notice anymore. Also considering it's on your hand it will probably age much faster than a place like your thigh. Constant exposure to sun/cuts/chemicals/etc.

I served a table of 4 juggaloes the other night. They were the stinkiest, messiest, cheapest (no tip and shared unlimited refill sodas), and most disgusting customers all week. Seriously- who needs ten refills of ranch dressing and then mixes a whole plate of ketchup, mayo, and ranch together? Fuck em. They also had some of the worst tattoos I've seen all week. One dude had an anarchy symbol next to one eye and a peace symbol next to the other eye.

You're already on the right track by referencing Valerie's work. Those are all great tattoos. I'm pretty sure you could go to her (or someone of her caliber) and simply say "I want a lady head tattoo" or "I want an anchor tattoo" and you're gonna get something pretty bitchin'. If you're going to a good tattooer, 99.9% of the time what they draw is going to look cooler than anything you imagine and layout in your head and (in my opinion) you're best off letting them create the design and ask you whatever pertinent questions they have.
