  1. My buddy David Bruehl- who works out of Oklahoma, does really amazing Ladies. I scoured his blog and couldn't find a few pieces that I love, but I pulled up this piece that I watched him put on in Wisconsin a few years back. I love the way he does noses; that's always a dealbreaker for me on lady head tattoos. Bad noses.
  2. Mr. Hoffman has moved from Olde City to a shop in New Hope, PA. It's a nice little drive from center city. That said, if your name is 80's Metal Chick... I think Dave Fox is the only option. Hah.
  3. I tried to go on Saturday, but the crowds weren't to my liking so I ditched to get Amish BBQ. I think I made the right choice. At least Rick tattooed me bright and early on Sunday morning. Troy has a great thing going, but he needs to consider moving it to the convention center. At least Rick tattooed me bright and early on Sunday morning.
  4. Oh, no worries. Steal away. I put them out there to be seen. It's a trip; the docu is great stuff. He goes off on a rant about black panthers and hot stuff devils while wearing a train conductor hat.
  5. Palms. Thomas told me before doing them how much they were going to suck. I believed him, but really couldn't comprehend just how terrible it was actually going to be. My brother in law shot pics of them being done (both palms, same day) and you can tell by my face how unimpressed I was. Shawn’s Keys
  6. If you got them from Xanadontphiladelphia, that's my flickr. I've seen them reblogged/posted, but they came from my capture originally. You might be able to find them on vhs somewhere. I bought mine in the 80s and still have them in giant rubbermaids.
  7. The beardless pictures are from when I transferred an '80s tattoo documentary called "Frisco Skin and Tattoo Ink" from VHS to DV; I have the file somewhere though it needs to be recaptured at a higher resolution and cleaned up a bit. It was a "who's who" of the late 80s San Francisco tattoo scene. Higgs is featured working at Erno's and later Tattoo City. The filmmaker was Michael Stearns I believe; he did a great docu on Dave Lum as well.
