    EMLA worked for me to a degree- I put it on and wrapped it 2 hours in advance and it took the edge off but still hurt more than a tattoo- Ive been zapped with and without but hoo boy when it wears off you get all the pain at once and it sucks..

    I started with scarification on my arm when I was 16, got my first tattoo when i was 19, and thankfully had discovered Sailor Jerry by my 4th...I also started at my wrists and moved up. I took about a 5 year break in my late 20s but I doubt I'll stop now til Im covered

    I have to admit I am not nice in these situations...I'm not interested in winning anyone over and I'm really not interested in sanctimonious opinions so my response is mostly a 'I'm not interested in your opinion" to a 'Fuck off' depending on rudeness level. I also stare back haha. I get more comments and looks because of my pitbull these days. People are either super nice OR act like you are a rapist 0_o

    I like my faded tattoos, honestly I think they look better after they have "baked in" a bit... Though I don't spend a lot of time outside regularly so I'm still fairly pale

    Uh I know several big girls with GREAT tattoos- the key seems to be to get BIG tattoos...Im a fat guy myself and i dont see how it matters- Also I think being fat (5'8" 260) is pretty awesome bc i have enough room on my sides to get like 2 extra backpieces

    drive another 45 min to Staunton and hit up Acme (Tim Forbus!) also James River in Lynchburg (Josh Brown!)- Also a bit south of Richmond, Tantrum Tattoo is prolly my favorite, with Matt Bivetto and George Archer

    haha not really funnily enough- its more of a childhood nostalgia thing- Bivetto had drawn it and i was like I WANT and here it is....its pretty huge too lol
