  1. I completely agree with you on that one but being a college student, trips to Denmark are not quite in my buget so was hoping to find someone a little closer to home. Thank you for the encouragement! - - - Updated - - - Thank you for posting some great options for artists! This will help my search tremendously!
  2. Hi everyone! My name is Zach and I live in Oregon, 23yo kinesiology student and looking to get my first tattoo and I want it to be special. I don't know if its proper to ask this type of question in an initiation thread but I have been scouring the internet meticulously and have not been able to find what I am looking for so I am helping someone here might be able to help. I am looking to find an artist in America that is able to work in the traditional styles of old, Nordic tattoos in order to celebrate my heritage and honor my family. I have a good idea of the major pieces I want to incorporate but I am looking for someone who is able to improvise with this sort of style instead of just showing someone a picture and asking to replicate. So far the only artists I have found who do this style all reside in Copenhagen, DK so I was wondering if anybody knows someone in America who is able to do this type of work. The Danish artists I am referring to are Colin Dale of Skin and Bone, Peter Walrus of Meatshop Tattoo, and Kai Uwe Faust of Kunsten på Kroppen. The reason I respect the work of these artists is that their work has a very authentic feel, historical accuracy is something I value highly. I've added a few pictures from the artists I've mentioned to give an idea of the style I am looking for. Once again, any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
