  1. @oboogie from what I've seen of your collection its awesome - keep rocking it!
  2. this is my new favorite thread next to the lowdown
  3. I think there is a middle ground - i dont know if I come off snarky or sarcastic or what sometimes - i just try to be honest - sometimes honesty isnt what people want - there are def those threads where the OP is fishing for the validation of their idea - no matter how ridiculous - I would rather LST be but a ghost town then become a place where folks are high fiving over upside down blown out tattastrophes - just so they dont hurt each others feelings i'm rambling - but anyway - i hope the good folks here keep coming back and talking tattoos and posting their tattoos - we've had some good new members too
  4. i'd love to see this tattoo - heck i'll probably like it as i like most tattoos sounds like instead of a cover you got a blastover which looks kinda cool if you're already covered in tattoos but even still - sometimes tattoos that have poor design or execution can still look rad show us what you got
  5. so you were thinking about the coverup for a long time - listen - keep the tattoo - and get to a good artist before contemplating your next move - if you tell us where you are located - there are usually folks that could throw out a few names for you - because a good tattooer wouldnt have done a lame coverup on you like that
  6. wouldnt that be awesome - but since you cant i'd say live with it and learn to love it or cover it getting tattooed is permanent or at least it should be which is why i made my comment people are in such a rush to get a tattoo that everyone can see and they dont even know if they want to be a 'tattooed person' yet
  7. this is why you shouldnt go forearm first tattoo - jus sayin
  8. ok - where are the montreal tattoos people!!!!???? cmon now
  9. dont stress (easy to say when its not your tattoo) - you know in the end it wont matter - it'll heal and be just a small part of some tattoo awesomeness but i know how you feel - when i have healed forearm pieces those are the hardest because you see them constantly and analyzing every detail becomes a part of the healing ritual it'll be all good
  10. just get more tattoos - its all good - probably nobody would even notice - if they do - meh people who get tattooed should have a good sense of humor anyhow
  11. @Devious6 this is exactly what you were looking for - love it obviously a pretty special tattoo enjoy
  12. i have to admit - i used to have the idea that you have to come up with your own design - i dont do that anymore as i love to work with classic designs or designs that the tattooer has created - but here are a couple of examples of 'this' becoming 'that' - luckily - Jamie Sawyer did my design ideas justice :)
  13. ok so the first important thing is to find a good tattooer what this means is someone who is not only a technically a sound tatttooer but also someone who understands tattoo design the elements of what you want are fine - but in the wrong hands... a good tattooer will save you from yourself - but there are tattooers who will say sure I'll put this exact drawing on you - and that is where problems start so once you find the right tattooer - you can bring / send this reference and explain the jist of what you're after then let the tattooer develop the design - the design that will be on you for life to start - where you live - maybe you have an awesome tattooer right close by
  14. advice? let the tattooer draw your tattoo
  15. it's just the audio but its still a fun listen.... http://chicagoathleticevents.com/podcast/robert-ryan/
  16. or just pound dayquil edit: seriously hope you feel better though and i am totally looking forward to seeing some cool tattoos coming from the weekend cant lie very excited to see Graeme's tattoo
  17. yeah not seeing infection... who did your tattoos?
  18. @ligatortat didnt you just get your tattoo relax and enjoy it - it aint going nowhere touchups...meh
  19. well the skin looks irritated or brusied? is it because of the cream? who knows but seems like your tattoo experiences have been a little rough lately blown out lines and now this is something happening in the tattoo process that needs consideration? and - why numbing cream?
