  1. When I worked for a printing company, we'd proof their art, but gently ask if the spelling was correct. Marketing departments sometimes play with spelling, so we were never 100% sure if it was a mistake or not. If we didn't ask, the claim was usually going to fall on us.

I work in print (as the customer of the printed material) too, and although we ask them to check, the responsibility ultimately lies on us to get it right, as far as what is desired. That's the point of getting a proof, after all. As far as tattoos, it's your (collective your) body, you're going to own it, so you should take the responsibility for it being as you want it. The stencil is your "proof".

  2. We finally found our furever dog! Meet Ella :) She is 3 months, very small. She is definitely a boston terrier mix, just not sure what the mix is. Already head over heels for this puppy bundle.

Looks like she has some Jack Russell in there. Cutie.

  3. A coworker once asked me: "aren't you afraid of what will happen in hell?" I asked for some clarification on this and he said " I was taught that what you have tattooed on you will be what you're tortured by in hell".

Wow. Just.... wow. So i'll be tortured by a cat, a fox, disembodied wings, two birds and a baby devil in diapers. Interesting.

So alot of peeps are going to get tortured by Jesus!

  4. Just finished my thigh with Rose Hardy. She is excellent and every one in the shop said its their favorite of hers :)

Every time I go to Kings Ave I'm reminded how amazing a shop it is. Every one there rules. Love love love. Can't wait for the next tattoo!

My favorite place. Love those guys. Last time i was there, in April, i sat down in the chair and turned to my left right into the staring eyes of Oliver Peck.

Who did you get that from?

I was also at that convention. I worked Friday and Sunday.

I also managed to get tattooed as well. I asked Mike Schweigert to cover up something I've had for awhile on the top of my forearm. It's in the middle of the flaking process right now, but I will post when it is healed.

I've met Mike once or twice before but never had a conversation with him. He's fast, solid and did a great job.

It was almost like being tattooed for the first time again and it meant that much more.

Joel Brewer. Last appt of Saturday night. Super nice guy. And i got to watch the suspension show while he was working.
