What are some problems in which you had faced when you were in your early stages of becoming a tattoo artist?
e.g. Getting clients to practice on, practicing on paper vs skin, etc.

Hello Zhalong, please do not revive dead threads (as I am doing right now). Your examples are correct re myself as it's normal for clients to be scared of a artist that is not well known or has not had a lot of practice on actual humans. Practising on paper is okay but its much better to practice on a real person as its the texture, colour, resistance and curvature that effects the outcome.
