  1. Subjecting the tattoo to surgery such that the skin containing it is removed and the rest is sewn together is another widely opted procedure.

Certain cosmetic tattoos, such as pink, white and flesh-colored lip liners, may darken immediately with laser therapy. This effect can usually be corrected with further treatment. If immediate skin darkening is a concern, the laser should be tested on a small spot first.

  2. Not totally agree with u that....i know people whove been trying to laser off medium sized plain black tattoos for a couple of years and they are only beginning to finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.

your lasered tattoo WILL look like shit for the whole period of time you are treating it ( i reckon it looks a bit like mouldy bread),.

How can u say like this ?

  3. Yes..it is a good future option because PicoSure’s ultra-short pulse duration goes beyond photothermal action creating an intense photomechanical impact, patented PressureWave™, resulting in greater disruption of the target for better clearance with fewer treatments, less fluence and without injury to the surrounding skin. Even dark, stubborn blue and green inks, as well as recalcitrant tattoos can be removed.

  4. It is normal to undergo bruising, burning, whiteness, redness, crusts and swelling for 1-2 weeks after the surgery. However if the area gets excessively inflamed, or a rash or small pimples develop, don't neglect seek medical attention immediately.

  5. It is necessary to apply a cool compress directly on the tattoo site for the first 24 to 48 hours after laser tattoo removal to prevent inflammation and discomfort.make sure the site is cleaned with soap and water, and gently patted dry till the area gets completely healed.

  6. Immediately following treatment, an ice pack is applied to soothe the treated area. The patient will then be asked to apply a topical antibiotic cream or ointment. A bandage or patch will be used to protect the site and it should likewise be covered with a sun block when out in the sun.
