  1. My left arm has all been Japanese themed... I was thinking of all Traditional for my right arm.

Left leg will be all traditional and right leg will be Japanese themed. It's gonna be weird looking at myself in the mirror when most of me is covered.

  2. Lol I wear socks, they just don't show cause I can't rand to see my socks when I wear my shoes haha. I'm going to take my shoe off next time cause the bull zombie will be a little lower and the background is going to be starting on my ankle and going up!

Right now my tattoo is just about almost healed and it still looks really good!

Now for my zombie bull that I'll be getting in the 17th, should I but the testicles in my tattoo or not? I think if I keep them I'll have them be a little shorter lol I will also be putting canis lupus on my wrists too during my all day session!

Definitely loving the concept of the zombie bull as well.

I made sure I wore nice clean socks when my calf was done. My tattooer was like "are your socks clean?" when I asked if i should take my shoes off or not, haha. He said he would wrap my feet if they smelled. He didn't and the session lasted for about 7-8 hours.

  3. Quick question...I am a beginner here and am only getting ready for my third session on a half sleeve. I've actually enjoyed the looks and compliments. Anyways...I was in Walmart yesterday and was waiting in line in front of a very well dressed man in expensive slacks and button up shirt. He had his sleeves slightly rolled up and I noticed tattoos all the way to his wrists. I was really trying not to stare and that leads me to my question...how rude is it to ask someone about their tattoos? How do you go about it?

I don't think it's rude at all to ask... It's better to ask them about their work then to stare. Some of my best conversations are with people randomly that also have work done on them.

  4. I get stares all the times especially 10 years ago before tattoos were popular like they are now...

I live in the South and I run into a lot of judgmental pricks living in the Bible Belt and all...

I usually ignore them and most of the time, I get a lot of people who are curious and interested in my pieces so I show them.

Occasionally, I'll get someone touching me trying to hold my arm to get a better look...It's usually a female so that doesn't bother me. Haven't had any random guys do that so guess I'm lucky on that...

  5. I can only speak for my best friend who has been a Type-1 Diabetic since he was 10 years old, now hes 30 years old...

He got a rather large back piece done in 1 6-hour session with very minimal breaks (1 or 2 at the most).

I'll have to ask him what he did to prep himself before hand but he told me recently that he slept through most of it (which I don't know was a good idea for the tattoo artist to keep continuing or not)..

His tattoo healed like normal, didn't have any infections or prolonged healing.

  6. @ThatGuy I guess it's a little different with me but I feel that anything I can cover with a dress-shirt or button-up long sleeve is good enough for me. Probably why I haven't tattooed my hands or neck yet.

I get tattoos where I find will fit along the curves of my body/flow well and how much space I need for the particular piece I want. Like someone said earlier, it just depends on the availability of the artist that I want work from.

  7. I forgot how shitty leg tattoos heal. It's been three days and it still feels like garbage.

I guess I got lucky, my calf is healing with very little issue. Just 2 thicker scabs on where my artist may have overworked the black on the eyes of my tattoo...It was done last Monday and has been a breeze so far.

I want to say having your whole back done is a pain in the ass to keep fully moisturized and cared for. I had to have my fiancee help me every single time I had to tend to my back.

  8. Hi there. Welcome to LST! Thanks for taking the time to write a few words about yourself, and share pictures of your tattoos. Have you planned your next one yet?

    Thanks!

I need one of my artists to do another session on my back piece, a lot of color and shading now...

My next upcoming piece will be a color realism piece of a skull or something involving a skull by John Barrett of Searchlight Tattoo in Warner Robbins, GA.

Instagram That is his Instagram page... I think his work is so surreal and phenomenal.

  9. Hello!

I'm from Atlanta, GA and have been getting tattoos since 2003 when I first turned 18! I have not stopped and keep getting more pieces as the years go on...

I do have some tattoos that I regret and would like to get covered up or lightened up by a laser to get covered up. I think they were just done horribly and an eyesore.

I have attached tattoos that I do appreciate and love...

Sorry if some of the pictures are crappy, I took most of them by myself and it's hard to get good pictures sometimes...

    Thanks for stopping by!
