I have a general question for the entire community and any knowledge, references and insight will be greatly appreciated.
I’ve been researching new tattoo ideas and I’ve fallen in love with Maori/Scottish Tartan designs. I have a heavy Scottish heritage, but so far I’ve been unable to find a connection between Celtic styles and the Maori styles and before I go any further into the idea of putting a tattoo of the size on my body that I’m considering I have to understand where these two beautiful styles connect.
I appreciate any and all thoughts on this subject. Thanks!
