  1. I am about to put a deposit down for a sleeve and I am stuck between two artists and my overthinking self is going crazy!! The first artist is Michael Perry - Who I had a consultation with and we went back and fourth with emails. He seemed very into my project and he gave my his thoughts on how he might tackle the project and I loved the way he saw things. https://www.instagram.com/p/CeRG0RprxQ1/ - Good creative work https://www.instagram.com/p/CDzdi7_Fm1R/ - Video of healed work - unfiltered https://www.instagram.com/p/B6tWhWWFuH0/ Video of Healed work - Unfiltered https://www.instagram.com/p/CTC3LKbL-XA/ - Good creative work The second artist is George Lange - He too loved my idea but have not had a consultation with so I did not get to see his opinion on how he would take on my project. https://www.instagram.com/p/CRZNHFTg0dn/ - Video of healed work - unfiltered https://www.instagram.com/p/CTz20-pLwnD/ - Nice detailed creative work https://www.instagram.com/p/CDMZYaPH2ag/ - Healed work https://www.instagram.com/p/B9roVrFndAF/ - Good creative work Now both of these artists are to me, very good artists, and I am stuck between if I pick one I am worried ill regret my decision and think maybe I should have went with the other. My question is who do you guys think is better, who would you pick, and how do I decide???
  2. When you say researched have you looked at the healed work? also define how you assessed the portfolio.
  3. https://www.instagram.com/p/CDzdi7_Fm1R/ Here is where he did a tattoo with no edits.
  4. What is funny is I actually noticed the shaky line work when michael perry did some circles or line work, I think what I liked was his overall imagery and creatism. Im my opinion It looks better than the shane guy you posted. I will keep searching though. I just find it hard to find a GOOD artist that wants to do what I like. I litteraly go on instagram pages or artists in my area (hell even sometimes out of the states) and ahh still have this issue. I dont know if its just because its my first tattoo and I have weird expectations?
  5. Can you provide an example of what a good artist that does black and grey realism look like? so I can have some kind of reference? I did find another https://www.instagram.com/darwinenriquez/
  6. I have been looking to get sleeve work done in black and grey realism by a quality artist and found an artist who I like but I am not sure if I have a good eye for quality artists yet as I am still new to this. (first tattoo) The artist: https://www.instagram.com/michaelperryart/ Where would on artist like this fall into in terms of quality? - Please be brutally honest as I am looking for top notch quality artists to get this sleeve done (dont care about price)
