I really hope they do a cross-over episode with the "doctor" who runs TLC's Tattoo School. I have to admit, I'm morbidly curious but I'm pretty sure it's going to be a giant train-wreck.

I'm still very much a neophyte and nowhere near as versed in the subject as a lot of you, but when I see a good piece I definitely mention it to the person who owns it. I also think the way the client takes care of the piece has a lot to do with it. I talked one of my friends into going to see a really amazing artist and she ended up with a really shitty tattoo because a) she didn't want to listen to the artist, and b) she didn't follow her aftercare regime correctly. So when people see her shitty pieces and then some of mine they're like, "That was the same artist?".

I just recently got a new tattoo that is actually a mob/spell from the game I work on (I'm a game designer). It's still icky and crusty, but here's a picture of it all weepy and hella swollen from the day after I got it done. Color yet to come!

I've been lurking for awhile and finally created an account, beep, beep, toot toot! I live in the Austin area and I'm a game developer.
