  1. hey gouge, welcome to LST. i would love to read some of your interviews, if you ever want to share them on your blog.

nervermind...see in your sig...will check out!

  2. hey bart, welcome to last sparrow tattoo. it is a great forum for old friends to connect on. who do you know here? it is so great the tattoo community is so connected.

  3. One of my favorite teachers is my friend Stephanie, this is her DVD. It's amazing, and I have a TON of yoga DVD's, and sometimes I watch them as a sleep aid, generally not to practice. There is absolutely NO spiritual content whatsoever on this DVD, it is what it's called, yoga for strength and toning, although her core sequence just might have you crying out for Jesus!

i am so glad Dari chimed in. great words of advice especially about:

One huge turn off for me is if someone is speaking in a sing-songy "yoga voice," instead of their own authentic voice
because i thought it was just me....

also, i can't wait to try some of stephanie's videos. i hear she is a really amazing teacher which i totally believe because she is so sweet and calm in her day to day life.

  4. I am sure you have all read and seen some of the great blogs posted by some of the talented tattooists on LST. We have some amazing videos, interviews, articles, and thoughtful pieces.

Even if you are NOT a tattooist, do not be afraid to start your own blog.

We would love to hear about your day, recent pieces that you have acquired, thoughts for new pieces, even non-tattoo musings....really we would just like to get to know you better and your own blog is a great place to start.

  5. man...that sounds great. might be some legal issues though??? with customers' consent and all???
Not much of a lawyer though done my fair share of shaking johnny law and courts but I would think it could be pulled off. Any LST lawyers out there? I mean YouTube and other sites like that have members post all sorts of nonsense with people willing and unwilling. I would imagine the individual poster/member would be more at risk. Or what about posting signs at shops that chose to partake saying, "Warning your stupidity may be captured and shared!" ha!

Speaking of which anyone ever see that picture online of homegirl hardcore dancing in a mosh pit that had like Godzilla or something photoshopped onto it?

i am sure it is totally doable. i think the law is that if you are in a public place, you can be caught on camera, video camera, but it may be something where you need to post something that says there are camera's filming...and no sneaky toilet shots....that is illegal.

shit, haven't any of you seen "operation repo"...

  6. At the shop I work out in Hollywood, Chris Brown and Rihanna came in (before he kicked her ass) and they both had some pretty ridiculous tattoos on them (some of which were done at our shop). On his upper arm, there was a Jesus in the clouds with ninjas popping out of all the clouds around it. I asked what was up with the ninjas, and he said they were to protect Jesus. I'm Jewish, so I don't know all that much about Jesus I guess, but I'm pretty sure homeboy doesn't ninjas to protect him when the shit hits the fan.

Kevin, that is so ridiculous...you would think since they are celebrities and going to be scrutinized, they would put more thought and research into their tattoos. or maybe they put too much thought into their tattoos? also, aren't most ninjas NOT big followers of Jesus.
