Any news on the Marcus Kuhn project? That trailer alone has got me all kinds of pumped.
A 10 minute trailer is coming out with the next issue of TAM, the full 37 minute episode is available on June 5th.
It will be available via download for $4, a limited edition DVD will be available for $25 and a super limited DVD with Thomas Hooper print will be available for $250... if I remember correct...

I'm now to this place and just wanted to share my new 3/4 sleeve that Marcus did on me Saturday. He tattoos in Maine and New York but comes here to Santa Barbara a couple times a year to guest spot. Because I might not see him until December or January, I booked 2 appointments with him this visit.
The first session he completed the outline which took 4 hours and 45 minutes but with out breaks probably closer to 4 hours. It was a little rough, he's definitely not known for being gentle, but it was well worth it :D
Here's the drawing done from the tracing of my arm...
And the finished outline. It was done 4 days ago so it's a little scaly by now...
I'll go back on the 1st to complete all the black and grey shading so it should look like a finished product until next time when I can get it colored in. Fortunately the guy works really fast, unfortunately it's 5-6 months in between visits.....

I guess there's a 10 minute trailer coming out any day now with the DVDs being distributed via an upcoming issue of TAM and the release of the full 37 minute video will be available for download on the 5th of June for a reasonable $4.
You will also be able to purchase limited DVDs of each episode for $25...

I'm a little disappointed but also not surprised about that. I was hoping to see a show about doing tattoos and not a bunch of tear jerker BS.
To me this is Miami Ink/LA Ink all over again. With all the complaining that Ami did in him TAM interview I don't understand why he's doing it all over again. Its a repeat of everything he complained about....
