  1. My first tattoo was my chest panel, and shoulder. The next will be the other panel.
  2. What is the reason for your apprehension? Are you unhappy with the first tattoo they did? I am certainly not qualified to judge the quality of someones work, but what is on the Facebook page seems to be well done. That being said if you're not comfortable maybe the best thing to do is to find another shop. The last thing I would want would be and apprehension about the work I was having done or the person doing it.
  3. Nope, I've watched every episode. It's like a train wreck. I can't stop watching. That being said I haven't liked a single tattoo on the show. I feel really bad for the "canvases."
  4. Yeah, I've been trying to think of something to go over there.
  5. @Brock Varty here is what we have done so far. Here is the tattoo Brenda started on my wife.
  6. Lol, I think you guys are right. The worse is since the wife is right there with me, there is no-one acting as the voice of reason.
  7. Absolutely! He is a very intelligent, well read man. We spent about an hour just talking about philosophy and the way we approach our lives before we started doing anything else. His apprentice Adrian was great, and Kim was a sweetheart. I am so glad we decided to work with them. Every part of the experience was great. They treated us like we were old friends that they had known for years. They truly bent over backwards to make us comfortable and put us at ease. My wife loved working with Brenda, and she couldn't be happier with her tattoo. After being treated so well and being so happy wit the results, I couldn't imagine working with anyone else. We will keep going back until they throw us out.
  8. I had my first session on my first tattoo with Kore Flatmo this Friday. I went in with a weird combination of being very excited and very nervous at the same time. Needless to say everyone was great and it was a great experience. I have to go back for another session to finish in November. Even though I'm not done with my first tattoo, I have caught myself thinking through what I would like to do for my other chest panel. I am worried this is going to get expensive. I am blaming all of you for this.
  9. Welcome to the forum. Please post some pics.

  14. Well here is my first tattoo. Done by Kore Flatmo at Plurabella Studio in Cincinnati. WE got around four hours done yesterday. I will be back right around thanksgiving to finish it. It was a great experience KOre was great to work with, he is a true gentleman, and a credit to his profession.
  15. Seeing jokers like that in action reminds me of the reasons I was leery of getting tattooed in the first place. I was scared of getting stuck with the kind of junk that I've seen on that show. Most of the tattoo's I see around here are shit too. It wasn't until I found this place that I was educated as to what a tattoo could be. When I tell my friends about my upcoming tattoo they ask why I would drive so far, and why is it so expensive. They tell me "my buddy can do that for a couple hundred bucks." I politely say "no, I don't think he can." One of my friends got mad at me, and I asked him if he would buy a discount parachute. He said "sure if I could save money." I don't get it.
