  1. It is probably his one and only time going with me so we're making it count! I'm finally more excited about this trip than I am nervous.
  2. Back to Tomo for Martin Luther King Holiday! My best friend is coming along this time and we're going to San Francisco while we're in the Bay Area, we're really excited because we booked a reservation with Saison for dinner. A completely different kind of wild ride, the good kind, for once as I'm only doing four hours a day with Tomo and will have some free time to explore with my friend.
  3. The darn thing wont settle in! I didnt take the break I should have and it is staying rough.
  4. Not mistreating it is the best course of action so take a peek in the aftercare section of the forum and try to remain calm.
  5. First order of business is going to the section that talks all about this and you can probably find it there. In the mean time keep the area clean and dont wait and go to the doctor because the white pimples sound like a Staph infection @elly318
  6. I'm busy healing my new little addition, I got it on my arm and between the easy spot and the tebori the experience was the easiest to date. I got a Daruma doll which was one of the two things I originally set out to get anyways, I have some rock climbing goals to reach and if I do I'll get the eye blacked in during the Jacksonville Imperial Arts fest. Pics in a few days once the eye calms down.
  7. Just let it heal and its not really crooked so much as your skin has nooks and crannies and will never look fully straight no matter how much they fix it. Take the tattoo as it is and let it be, its truly going to be okay
  8. Monji on Thursday. Unless I see something in his book that is too good to pass up I'll get a Daruma.
  9. All of them were INCREDIBLE, I loved Marius and Marc Nava. I especially loved Mike Dorsey's too. I'm still young and working on having the salary to buy tattoos AND art.
  10. I stared at Jon FTW's doll for so long.
  11. Has anyone else on here taken a peek at the project? The auction will end today and I have been interested with it and the designs the artists came up with.
  12. I'm a month shy of 25y/o. I'm just not a movie guy; I'm a comic book and punk guy. I also like the Mohawk Hot stuff, very 80's-90's NYHC. Wonderful tattoo though, lets not take away from that.
  13. With Hellboy and Gorilla Biscuits being there, my heart is elsewhere. They are all killers.
  14. Oh, of course! You keep adding more and more amazing tattoos to your collection!
  15. Well this will be something to experience, I was really hoping to hold onto ignorance. I'm decidedly only getting something palm sized anyways, nothing too long or arduous. I get my fill of long sessions with Tomo
  16. Tebori supposedly hurts less, also if you jump on the plane the morning/day after its still a dull throb and didn't really bother me and I flew from Cali to FL, you will do great.
  17. He is doing machine shading because I'm coming from so far away, we're trying to get it done as efficiently as possible for all parties involved. It hurts like any tattoo does, the back definitely has some sensitive stuff going on. I only have my right leg done otherwise and the jump in pain scale was pretty tremendous for me but I made the 8 hour appointment and I got through it. You'll survive your appointment if out of stubborn-ness alone like I have. @Gingerninja thanks! I toughed it out thanks in part to your app you sent me! Mike Saurez and Molly complimented me for being TUFF and it made it a little easier and made me feel a little better. The numbing cream was the silent hero for my ribs though. I'm also booked in with Monji while he is at Inksmith and Rogers in October!
  18. I’m incredibly bruised and tight but here is the progress!
  19. I'm back from State of Grace today, I'll post a picture tomorrow of what we got done. I'm beyond exhausted and sore, we used numbing cream on my ribs to get me through the last 2.5 hours of the session. I will do everything in my power from now on to have 3-4 hour sessions at a time from now on.
  20. oooooooooooooh I definitely want to see both of those as well!
  21. @Gingerninja I would love that! I'm stoked but flying in Saturday night, all day session Sunday, fly home Monday, work Tuesday is going to be rough. I'm looking forward to seeing how much we can get done if I sit my little self still.
  22. I'm back at it with Tomo in on the 10th for an all day session, going to be one for the books for me.
