flying aces got a reaction from captaincabinet in Tattoo Regulation 2013
harry styles makes us all look like retards when the ignorant media label him as 'tattooed' or anything to that effect. absolute waste of skin, tattoo wise and generally life wise.

flying aces got a reaction from Shaun1105 in Ever been called a tattoo snob?
i know i'm a snob. i will only go to artists after thoroughly looking through their work on facebook/magazines etc. i want the best quality work on my skin, and would not be happy with less than that. its hard sometimes when people show you stuff or recommend someone and you look at it and its terrible, to not tell them so, but its best to keep that snobbiness in your head. if nothing else it'll stop you getting shit work.

why thank you sir. i guess i was quite late joining the game (comparatively nowadays) starting at 23, but i'm thankful for this because it meant i never got any terrible fad tattoos like tribal or any silly rap influenced designs. i'm a bit of a snob when it comes to work, but only really for myself, eg i will seek out high quality artists and wont compromise on price or quality. my priority now is to finish my arms. after that i'll probably move onto my legs, as i'm undecided whether to get my back done yet..

flying aces reacted to JeffK in Collecting different styles
I have a few tattoo's that don't "match" the rest. I didn't get them because the style was hot at the time (it wasn't) I was just 20 and that's what I was into. Then what I was into when I was 30 was different. I think about getting them covered, but it's like why? It's a road map of my life (lame way to put it, I know, it only sounds cool if you're a Russian prisoner) and so it's just what I was into when I was that age.
I get more OCD about colors matching than styles on a certain limb or part.
I also prefer, for myself, patchwork style. A ton of random tattoos, vs. 1 big sleeve or piece. Except the back, that large slab of skin with no nipples was made for 1 big ass tattoo.

hi everyone. i found this site while looking through some anti tattoo articles online. thought i'd sign up as there seems to be some cool stuff here, and i havent been a member of a forum for a while. i love the tattoo culture and going to conventions, so it seemed natural to sign up here.
my favourite styles are old school, neo traditional and chicano style black/grey, and i have around 30 hours worth of work from various artists throughout the uk, including lee hadfield, polish dan, and frank carter.
anyways, looking forward to chatting to you all.
