Here's one of my favorites. This is on another friend of one of my customers, who wanted to know how much it would be to cover this tattoo. I told him that the tattoo was awesome and it didn't need covering...
hahaha that one's a keeper for sure!

he is out of jail now though. opened up a tattoo shop in the mall and sells SULLEN and AFFLICTION t shirts as well as doing shitty tattoos.
ahahahaha fuck jail that sounds like punishment enough!!!

saw this bad boy parked near Venice on my trip to LA last month...

Okay people....you need to step up your game here!!!
I can not be the only one of us getting tattooed!!!
ha ha ha ha
I'm broke and selling shit off on Craigslist and Ebay to hopefully get tattooed at the upcoming SFO convention. Don't worry, I'll hopefully have something awesome to contribute after that...

hahaha Lochlan here's the picture you're referencing... definitely had to dig that one up after remembering it!
-
haha...they should just do a version of "the office" but in a tattoo shop!
holy shit that'd be amazing. I would actually watch tv for that

Hosted by Blackheart, in support of Horitaka's State of Grace bay area tattoo convention- here's the official flyer for the show/party at Thee Parkside:

I think I have gotten more attention while traveling for having a big beard than I have for having tattoos. Haha.
Just saw the picture of your beard... Man I'd think you were smuggling something in there too! haha

I once discussed this issue with an artist that some think is the best in the world and he told me he loved it that people continually copied his work.
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

I believe every artist in every form (not just tattooing) takes their influences with them. It's just a matter of trying to put your own spin on it and when an original idea does come then run with it with all you've got.
Great artists are rarely born bursting with original ideas. The beginning stages of most artists involve a mimicking of something they appreciate so they can learn their craft. Most great artists that I've met manage to put in many hours of practice and work past the mimicking stage to a point where they're combining a great variety of influences to show the world their own unique vision.

Yea man, his side, and Kevins side are both really fucking cool. I know a lot of people that say all Matt's songs on that split sound like "Sorry About That." I'm okay with that.
Sweet Smiths collection. They are the best. Ever.
Dude- I think all of Matt's songs are just the same 4 songs written over and over again. And usually, I'm ok with that too.

I kinda salvaged the computer jargon from Juan's post- here's the pic Juan tried to post:

hahaha especially being in SF he's gonna get a lot of loving for that one!

I would totally get down on some Wu-Tang Pizza!!!
Here's a board I recently spraypainted/sharpied of ODB
That Ghost Busters and Jesus picture is pretty amazing too

Ugh Tim's Roses are insane. I love the hands he did I attached a picture of...
As far as inspiration goes- my writing is often influenced by humanity and often the general lack thereof.
My visual arts can be influenced from something I see walking down the street, a play off of someone else's idea that I throw my own twist on, or simply from practicing a new technique.
PS - I know the link has been dropped somewhere else in the forum but it's totally worth reposting so here is the link to Tim's blog that you should check out!

sooo... anyone care to fill a youngin' in on why the shop closed?
-
Aarón Sanchez is ALL tatted up.
A couple of those Food Network guys are. Off the top of my head, I think Chris Santos is too.

Alinea-Head Chef Grant Achatz www.alinea-restaurant.com it just retarded 29 course 5 hour amazement!
29 courses?!?!?! I can't even imagine what that's like. That's just over $6 a course at $185 which considering the quality (or so I'm guessing by looking at that photo gallery) really isn't that bad. Crazy
-
Wow... I totally would've thought that was photoshopped. What makes the sand green???
-
WOW Dari. Those hands on his front pages are hands down (no pun intended ;) ) some of the best work I've ever seen
