  1. Yoga has taught me a lot about breathing through pain.
  2. My husband is also anxiously awaiting the Rift. He almost bought the dev kit a couple years ago and now it has been so delayed he wishes he had.
  3. When it hurts I like to make faces that make my buddy crack up
  4. You could get a test tattoo...something small and simple....if really worried. I had a roommate 25 years ago who did have a bad reaction and a test would have spared her the troubles.
  5. I have the same problem with piercings but no trouble with tattoos
  6. Tattoos over 40 are the sweetest ;) Welcome! I am excited for ya!
  7. If you find it, shoot me an invite. People get pretty hammered on here.
  8. Ugh....gotta wait till March for my next appointment to work on my back.
  9. Hi my name is Jen and 7 seemed as good a number as any
  10. I am already partially retired, so it's time. The trick will be convincing my spouse.
  11. You got a nice one. Mine was very negative about a few things. For instance, she asked me about my pets and I said I had a ball python and a rainbow boa. She made a face and said " pythons are the ones that kill people, right?" I was not impressed.
  12. That's pretty jacked. Also, if it is where I think it is, I double down on my outrage at the teacher's poor judgement. Intimate area for a minor to be getting work. You should really talk to the principal.
  13. I think that teacher has no business leading trips with kids in the future. I would take this up with the principal of the school.
  14. Shane o'neill, middletown DE. 6 hour drive from you. I am on my third trip and it's not a bad ride down. Long wait though. Black and grey photo is his thing. Jesse Rix in Keene NH does great wildlife also.
  15. All this talk of pharaoh makes me think of an anubis (jackal) tattoo. Free association is weird.
  16. I was going to wait until retirement to go past the elbow, but I am starting to think it's close enough!
  17. Its true.....i want it, but hesitate because I will need to buy a new work wardrobe. Sigh....time to play the lottery.
  18. I currently have a half sleeve (upper) on the left, and am planning a Japanese koi piece for my right. I was toying with the idea of going for the full sleeve instead of half for this one. Anything I should consider in making this choice beyond the obvious ones of cost and coverability? I know near the elbow sucked on my half so I am a little wary on that. I am interested in your thoughts and experiences. I am a gal, if that matters. My forearms have very light blonde hair if that is a consideration too....
  19. Now if it had said "invisible tattoos" that would be a different story! Lol Seriously though, I really wonder if this is a "thing" in the psych community, or is it more of a general data point like height and weight.
  20. Agreed. Odd and discouraging that someone would make judgements on that basis. I know it happens, but damn it burns to see it in writing.
  21. I recently had a psych workup and had a look at the notes. One of the checklist items was "visible tattoos" This kinda ticks me off.....is this a standard psych profile item? Any psych students or pros here? What is this supposed to signify?
