they both look black & gray, the new one will settle in and should look similar to the old one.Like was said,3 days is too soon to be healed.
tattoos take a few months to heal and longer to "settle in",
Thank you mate! Just didn’t want one looking jet black compared to the one that has gone grey…
what’s your view on patchwork sleeves? I am thinking of getting main pieces and then filling in the gaps with fillers. Should I do the fillers at the end or as I go along?

Tattoo is looking much better now!
It is now 3.5 weeks healed and I’m just wondering if the line work on the mandala as shown in the picture is looking normal? It seems to be slightly raised and still white and cloudy? Would this normally take longer to heal? Parts of the tattoo are still shiny but not as much as before!

@SJ94 looking good so far. As i've seen in a few other threads, you're stoked and concerned. as the other folks have mentioned, give it some time to heal. it'll be great.
in the meantime, welcome to large and visible tattoo club and also welcome to LST! stick around and take a look at some other threads. the's some amazing stuff on here!
Thanks! Feel more confident now and spirits are up!

@SJ94 just a heads up that they post you're asking about is from 3years ago now and the poster only has one total post, so there's not a high chance of a reply. 😬
not to say that it won't happen, but i wouldn't hold my breath.
I figured that after mate cheers 😂
mine is at the same stage on the 10 day...

Hi all sorry for jumping on someone's post but I can not seem to start my own thread lol. Anyways got my thigh tattoo 11 days ago and it's healing differently then my 8 others ever have just curious if this is relatively normal for a thigh healing process? I know one part I scraped while camping on the weekend and it got a slight infection that has dried up now so I'm guessing that will be messed up once fully healed, but there's these other spots that look white/pale throughout the tattoo and I'm curious if these spots mean ill need lots of touch ups
Have you got a picture of this healed now? After all the milky skin has gone?

at least 3-4 weeks before you're going to know what it really looks like. it's still healing.
So do you think it’s healing normally? Like the cloudy patches etc. ??

looks 100% normal to me. what could it be ? , it's a 8 day old tattoo !
look at it again in 6 weeks, and NOT with a magnifying glass.
don't over moisturize it.
it will be fine
Does my tattoo looked scarred to you? Or do you think it’s looking normal? People have said it’s should be nearly healed by now? I’m very confused and anxious as this is a meaningful piece. ?

Thanks for the reassurance pal, just didn’t know what to expect from this tattoo as my first was just a small one which healed very quickly

Tattoo by two different artists

Looks great! What I meant is that is it normal to go to different artists for a sleeve to look cohesive? I’ve gone to two now but the latest artists style I prefer so will stick with him!
im sticking with the same theme for my sleeve! 🙂
