  1. I think research goes along way! Meeting them in person (consultation) . I've been lucky with all my artist because I've got some really nice tattoos. All these tattooers know each other and love to see great tattoos. You have to look at it like everyone has days where they aren't feeling 100 percent friendly and just want to give you a tattoo. That's what matters at the end. Unless they are completely arrogant and an ass that is another story. Being that you're in China you have to understand the cultural thing. One of my saying is "if you don't like it don't eat it'
  2. What are you 10 years old? hahaha!! Seriously I feel it's the choice of the individual but what is the point? Just buy some glow in the dark markers and call it a day!!
  3. from experience I would have some laser sessions done then start fresh with a new tattoo.. The only reason I say that is that tattoo is kinda big and what would you cover that up with? Making it better? I guess it's possible to redo it but you will be limited in the new design.. First thing is find amazing tattooer and speak to him/her about it. NYC isn't too far from VA. Also what direction are you going? Traditional?
  4. Yeah he can tattoo anything well!! It's hard to make panthers look unique but I think he did an amazing job with it!!
  5. Head Shot of my Panther by Chris Garver , Invisible NYC. Adding Roses next session!
  6. Panther - Chris Garver , Invisible NYC
  7. was just my advice... just when you are walking it looks backwards. like I said it's your tattoo and as long as youre happy..
  8. facing you?? that is a big no no!!!!!!!!!!!!! try drawing it on your wrist first. Unless you walk with you hands in the air. If youre not gonna listen.. whatever it's your tattoo... the bible says b.s is so stupid. "christians" I see them doing much worse things!! puhahah
  9. i disagree .. the responsibility of aftercare goes solely on the client!! If you are unsure about aftercare then ask..... Maybe being your first tattoo then i guess he should explain these things but not necessarily..
  10. just chill!! I agree clean a couple times and little product. What you see is plasma mixed with ink that cannot be cleaned of completely from the skin when getting tattooed. You will be fine as long as you don't take a bath. Showers are ok!!!!!!
  11. my instagram account is Killercook76 btw. I have the honor of getting some work from some of the best!
  12. usually if the artist has some sort of waiting list like a year or so then you hit the jackpot. Sometimes you can even get an earlier appointment if they really like the tattoo. I agree go on instragram! In chicago there is Hanna Aitchison? Not too familiar with anyone else in that area. In NYC there are tons !! I would not be set on November if it take longer even a year longer it's totally worth waiting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Try to get a hold with her then if she can't then maybe she could recommend an artist?
  13. I would definitely talk with a couple of artist and see what they think... If you are ever in NYC check out Matt Bagwell of Kingsave. He does the best portraits in my opinion on the east coast! Google him!
  14. as far as lasting longer etc. All tattoos will fade a bit but you can always get it touch up/redone. No big deal with that! Just make sure the artist is top notch. Leave all the tech stuff to them!
  15. I'M NO EXPERT!! In my opinion that may be a bit too much to put in a half sleeve?? You have a lot of different styles of tattoos everything from a portrait to traditional etc. There a very few artist that I know of that can pull off all those styles very well.. I would definitely go to the shop and talk it over with the artist. Sometimes I feel emails aren't good enough to explain everything. Just be open to what he/she says usually makes for a better tattoo!!!
  16. Oh crap!! Games over!! Hennings tattoos are so amazing!!
  17. okay sorry.. maybe i'll have something new in a couple of months.. - - - Updated - - - Okay here is one of my older tattoos. Not finished.. By Phil Szlosek at Kingsave NYC
  18. I hope there are no haters .. but I'm going to post this tattoo again this month!! Haha Done by Tim Hendricks at Gold Rush in Costa Mesa , CA
