  1. Thanks man. One of the big stores in the centre of the town is being attacked.
  2. I've just received a text from my wife. Some trouble at Swindon railway station. Fuckin hell. I've also read that the Wiltshire police have sent 25 specially trained units to help the police in London. So thats it then if it kicks off in Swindon, we're fucked.
  3. Thanks Jaycel, I'm in London Wednesday getting tattooed. That area hasn't been hit with anything. I saw this on YouTube. As the reporter says you have to laugh even though it's wrong.
  4. You loot and we shoot. I saw that sign over someones property after Katrina. I think I also saw footage of cops joining in with the looting in a branch of Walmart and a TV reporter asking them what they were up to. They looked a bit embarrassed to say the least.
  5. This was shown on the news and the suggestion was that the rioters were robbing from one of their own, suggesting that the guy getting his bag robbed was involved, in some way. Here’s a clue look at what he is wearing on his feet. Now I don't claim to be an expert when it comes to looting and rioting I think I can say with confidence that flip flops are not the best choice of footwear. Poor sod looks like he's just an innocent bystander caught up in this. The irony is that the some of the rioters and the communities they come from will suffer directly as a result of all this. Businesses destroyed and livelihoods lost. Some of those small local family businesses like the furniture shop in Croydon that had been there for over 120 years, gone forever and will probably never recover as a result of this. Very very sad.
  6. Trouble in Bristol as well about 40 miles from where I live. Some people have been calling for social networking sites to be closed down as there are claims that the looting and rioting is being co-ordinated on Facebook & Twitter etc. A number of politicians, media commentators and members of the police force have suggested that Twitter and BlackBerry Messenger, in particular, had a role to play in the violence and rioting.
  7. He was seen ram raiding a PC World in Nottingham and Friar Tuck was reported fleeing from a McDonalds with a trolley full of Big Macs.
  8. Yeah but you only had to deal with a few pansy Redcoats. This is big boy shit. We're talking about gangs of hoodies here. Seriously though this is crazy it's like the whole place is going up in flames ATM.
  9. More photos. Pretty depressing stuff. Merseyside Police confirm they are dealing with a number of incidents in South Liverpool, including cars being set alight.
  10. I hope so too but unfortunately it seems to be spreading to other parts of the UK. There are reports that there has been some trouble in Nottingham & Birmingham where a police station has been burned down. I thought this photo was particularly sad. Aaron Biber, 89, assesses the damage to his hairdressing salon after riots on Tottenham High Road on August 7, 2011
  11. Its all been kicking off in London other the past couple of days after the shooting of Mark Duggan by armed police on Thursday. BBC News - Riots in Tottenham after Mark Duggan shooting protest BBC News - London riots
  12. That groom has got his hand on his wifes arse in public. Disgraceful.
  13. I have two tattoos by Mo Coppoletta. One is an owl done using a stencil and other a severed head, without a stencil. Both in my humble opinion, executed superbly. Same artist two different methods same end result. These are both in my gallery, Jaycel, if you want to have a look. As for the merits of stencil v freehand I feel this is a question to do with tattooing technique and can only be answered, objectively , by a tattooer. No disrespect to you Jaycel, but the subject of tattooers discussing the technicalities of tattooing on an open forum has already been answered.
  14. I've had tattoos where just a stencil has been used. I've had one that was was drawn on first with a pen and some done using a mixture of both.
  15. Now that’s what I call commitment. I've got a couple of pieces from Stewart and so his my wife. He's a top notch tattooer and a really nice guy to boot. PS I'm in a kiss arsey mood tonight as we beat our noisey nieghbours at Wembley 3-2 today
  16. Very nice Rock of Ages in progress. I would love to see the completed tattoo. It's one of my favourites and I was in two minds about this one or the one I eventualy chose for my backpiece thats getting started in October. I'm happy with my choice though.
  17. Yep I was up at the crack of midmorning. You've got be up early to beat me ;)
  18. Always a great vibe at Frith Street Tattoos, London. From Frith Streets blog.
  19. Thats pretty amazing for a tattoo thats nearly 30 years old.
  20. With hindsight I agree this particular picture does not fit in the funny stuff/random picture thread. The thing is I can't find any other posts on this thread where you have passed such a comment, unless mine is the only unfunny picture on this particular thread. Trying to pick a fight with you? Tell you what pal I won't even dignify that comment with a response.
  21. MsRad there are plenty of pictures on this thread that I don't find funny but I don't feel the need to comment on any of them. Are you suggesting that I think the Jonestown Massacre was something to laugh about? Now I could find that really offensive, but do you know what I don't. There are pictures on here of all sorts of things that people can choose to take offence at, if they choose too. If you want to add 2+2 together and make 5 that’s up to you
