  1. Tattoo is now at the skin tightening stage and goes from stages of being red around tattoo (if walked a lot), to not red. Can start to see it bruising a bit, but it's only slight. Goes from varying degrees of hurt, to not hurt lol Esp if go to sit down and go to stand up. But will be ok, no pain, no gain, or something like that lol
  2. Next all day tattoo session will see me getting the motorcycle finished, background and filler work/merge with other work. Planning on getting some more Diablo artwork tattooed as filler work. I am *so* looking forward to the next session already!
  3. I know I have said this before, but just do what your tattooist says. Honestly that is the best advice, ask 8 different tattooed people how they look after their tattoos, you'll get 8 different answers!
  4. Ah feck it, here have a fresh pic of my new tattoo. On 2nd October I got this tattooed. A Honda CB Twin Motorcycle, with Giger style touches. Tattooed in memory of biker friends who recently passed. Tattooed by Tommygunn at Belfast City Skinworks, Belfast, Northern Ireland. Fresh pic (taken 4 Oct 17)
  5. Edited post: Removed image, cause not happy sharing it fresh. Will share when healed.
  6. Recently my mum has found out I am heavily tattooed, she was a lot cooler than thought. she doesn't want to see them or know what they are but she saw my hip twin Celtic dragon one, well part of it and said, "You're covered!" I replied, "Yeah, pretty much" she should shook her head wondering why her little girl would do such a thing to herself. No other family members know but <shrugs> Suppose, recently she's changed her mind about tattoos, which is a good thing.
  7. I have got another horror short story accepted in an ezine publication xD
  8. Healed pics of my Darth Vader tattoo, done back in August this year on my left calf. Also showing merge with tattoos either side of it. Done by Tommygunn in Belfast City Skinworks, Belfast.
  9. I got a horror short story published in a collection by female horror writers. Not been around much, as have been concentrating a lot on my writing.
  10. Finally got a jacket that I have been searching for ages. Going to do a counted cross stitch design to sew onto the back of it and sew complimentary fabric onto it. Not sure if will cover all of it or not. Will pin fabric to it when that time comes and decide then. I sew by hand, so it's a long term project. Also recently started writing chapter 2 of my novel in draft 2 stage. Slow progress, but it's coming along well.
  11. Ah ok that makes sense then. I have to be careful what goew on my skin. Due to some allergies. But, hey, if works for you, all good. I'll stay with my nappy cream. Scabby stage is in full flow. Bepanthen not far away.
  12. @pidjones yeah minimal for coverage, never have to blot excess off, because never is any excess, not with the nappy cream.
  13. Few hours ago, noticed it's now at the "dry, flaky stage" Bepanthen is my best friend. V dry on Vader's body.
  14. Really? Mine didn't swell that much! Mind you I was popping painkillers/anti-inflammatory every four hours for the first week after tattoo was done. Keep your leg elevated as much as possible. It is what I did with all my leg tattoos. My new tattoo still hurts, though am down to taking painkillers twice daily now, swelling not much more than when got it done. ankle swelling calmed down a lot. can feel skin tightening and that weird thing that feels like your skin is about to all peel off when you move your leg. It feels like skin is lifting off the body and then floats back down again. Only noticed it on calf tattoos. Bruising... heavy bruising, but it is healing normally so not worried about the pain factor.
  15. Can feel the skin tightening, bruised to fuck, swelling not much thanks to the non-painkilling painkillers. Still fucking hurts but healing normally so not worrying about it. Doesn't hurt much as long as don't stand too long/walk/move leg lol
  16. <sighs> Fucking damn thing, fucking hurts. Worse than the one I got done on other calf. Doing usual after care routine plus keeping it raised as much as possible. It's helping to keep swelling of ankle down. Bruised to fuck and aside from ankle v little swelling. Taking regular painkillers. Will be ok, will be worth it, but fuck it hurts!
  17. New tattoo today, done by Tommygunn in Belfast City Skinworks. Left Calf.
  18. On design stage for creating a website for me, will be hard-coding it. Will be fun, but this is the stage I find a chore <sighs> But has to be done. Also in design stage for a Japanese/Zen inspired indoor garden for my work area in my office in day job. And working on a few secret craft projects. Busy, busy but it's all good.
  19. Got Destiny free for PS3 when I upgraded my mobile phone . Didn't like it, not my kind of game, it's sitting there gathering dust, literally can't give the fucking game away. Not done any gaming in a while, my poor Monk in Diablo III will think I don't love him anymore lol
  20. @misterJ <laughs> to your local artists response to getting your knee done. When I told mine what I wanted done on front of my knees, he just nodded and said that will hurt, meanwhile when told him what wanted done on back of knees...that got a reaction! lol He said and I quote 'that will fucking hurt' will look good, but fucking hurt!" Just thought different tattooist's reactions was amusing. Mind you I am not long up <winks>
  21. @Cork no more mention of my progress in game until per your request. :p Wasn't bragging, I know Paragon lvl 31 no-where bragging rights... but yeah whatever lol x
  22. All booked for early August. Will be getting a Star Wars tattoo (Darth Vader) with a Giger twist, will be on back of lower left leg, yes the calf. But that'll be it done *starts to mentally prepare herself for the pain that waits*
  23. Got a break coming up this weekend, long weekend, looking forward to it. Heading off to Belfast, most likely will be entrenched in favourite pub for several hours, several times during visit. Don't drink but love pubs (part of our culture). Another visit to the Giant's Causeway is planned, love that place. Part of that area is featured in Game of Thrones and of course it is in Dracula Untold. Also it is Berk in How to Train your Dragon (enough tv/film name dropping). And of course will be calling into my tattooists to book apt for next one. Trip to favourite book/coffee shop planned and, comic book store. Though always feel like "Penny from Big Bang Theory" when go in there! Last time when was looking at the graphic novels, made mistake of speaking to a man beside me... was too funny.
  24. Still in Diablo III loop lol Monk is currently lvl 70 (Paragon lvl 31) in Act II on Expert. Looks fucking bad-ass and kicking some serious ass. Has confirmed me wanting some more Diablo artwork tattooed. Regarding Elder Scrolls, is a game never got into to be honest, suppose was spoiled with Diablo? But I may also be biased in regards to Diablo lol
