  1. We don't have a definite location yet but we got some contenders (at least in my head). I'm gunna say somewhere in the Village or LES, as I know those areas kinda well. I was am gunna say we meet at a bar or bar/restaurant as they are easy locations to meet up at. Suggestions welcome! My ideas so far: Spitzer's (LES) Top Hops (LES) Peculiar Pub (Greenwich) Radegast (Brooklyn so probably not)
  2. If you bring NYC into the fold as an option, you will have a ton of artists to choose from.
  3. I've traveled far for jobs I hated. If you really are into it, it should be trouble to travel around a bit. Hard work man. No substitute for that
  4. I still have to come up with a spot (suggestions welcome), but I have a feeling it will be a bar simply due to being an easy place to meet with no reservations. Chime in with recommendations!
  5. I think I might terrify people if I showed up in public wearing a fundoshi
  6. Ok guys, I know we fail hard at this in the Northeast, but I spoke with Mr. @gougetheeyes and we found a day that it will be happening! We just need to pick a location, feel free to throw out suggestions. Date: Sunday, Oct 20th Time: 2:30pm - whenever Where: Angelina Cafe - East Village I made reservations for 10 people (gave some leeway for an extra or two) under the name John Members confirmed: @gougetheeyes @slayer9019 @ironchef @HaydenRose @Fala + 1 @dirbab Below I've mentioned anyone who responded to the other meetup threads. @ironchef @HaydenRose @G.Uristti @Jack @ShawnPorter @dirbab @Our Endless Days @Bunny Switchblade @Fala @CultExciter @Joe Shit @
  7. Recommendation: Don't join GTA:Online until you complete your main storyline. You lose out of the stock market aka you go broke
  8. Yea being an adult sucks sometimes. Sometimes I get jealous of my kid neighbor as he explains to me how he just sits around playing video games and smoking pot all the time. He didn't understand that I can't just "play until like 4am every night". HAHA
  9. I think I hit 40%ish in a couple days, then realized I had to go outside for a bit. I'll pick up the controller again this weekend. Get into a couple of the missions and it gets addicting!
  10. After reviewing this thread I just realized I've never gotten aftercare instructions. Weird. I did get my firs tattoo within a week of my then roommate (who happens to be tattooed). He told me what to do.
  11. I suggest dressing up and getting some suit pants. You have no idea the day and night difference! I also cannot avoid flight after flight of stairs in NYC on my commute :(
  12. I can say both front and back of the knee was brutal, but in a different way. The front of my knee didn't get any scabs at all but around it...different story. The skin was so damn tight it was kinda ridiculous. I walked with a limp for a week or two. The back of the knee just scabbed over like holy hell. The whole ditch was a millimeter or two thick of just scab city. Yea key to knee ditch is to not ever wear jeans (silk suit pants are preferable to everything), or short gym shorts so the fabric doesn't touch the area. I worked out a system for the knees, as they suck so bad with my daily long walking commute up and down stairs, etc in NYC. Really did a good job filling out those legs! I'm almost there myself.
  13. Damn, if only you had a large to extra-large. :(
  14. Well since I was not there (and can't see it now) I can not really comment on your particular situation but I can give you a small excerpt of my own experience. In certain situations I have washed my tattoo (shower) afterwards and had tons of ink/crap come off. Example was my Raijin. There was so much red ink, blood, etc that it tinted the water in my bathtub for a minuet or so while I was washing. Every time I washed a tattoo a bunch of ink "comes out". The level usually depends on how much I got tattooed, and how well they cleaned it off before wrapping. The tattoos I have never healed wrong, and only experience very very minor ink loss (you could not tell unless I showed you where). I say you are fine. If you want you can ask your artist next time what he thinks you should do for aftercare or you can check out the aftercare section on the site Tattoo After Care | General Tattoo Forum | Last Sparrow Tattoo, possibly this is the best thread http://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/tattoo-after-care/32-best-post-tattoo-care.html.
  15. For whatever reason your username made this very funny
  16. I always wondered what would happen if people saw me outside of work. If you don't mind me asking, did he ever bring it up?
  17. Just had to post up in here something I recently discovered...I actually know one of the "canvases" but found out when I just so happened to sit and watch an episode with my roommate. Very weird...
  18. I just re-read this thread and it reminded me of something funny. The first tattoo I showed my parents I had a much nicer reaction than when I show them newer ones. I usually get the "Ok, show me the new tattoos." When I visit. Although I can say they are getting much more bold, and bigger.
  19. I can say where it is really determines my tolerance. I've never gone more than an hour on my knee (front or back) but my ass/thigh was the longest at 5.5 hours
  20. Yea it was weird for a launch of such a big game. I just kinda walked in, no lines or anything and saw the big poster and said "what the hell". Little did I know the game just launched, etc. Yea I'm PS3 at least.
  21. I am sooo damn jealous, and I know I really gotta make time to head out to SF. Awesome tattoo!
  22. yea luckily I'm on a not so planned 3 month break from getting tattoos. Frees up soo much money
  23. I justified it by saying "well it will save me from spending money at the bar/etc"
  24. Yea I kinda did the same deal. I just so happened to be off of work on release day and wandered into a GameStop. Amazing game!
