Nice lol what did your artist end up goin with as a design?
I got more on my Japanese sleeve and starting leg sleeve both in next few months, fun times!
It's just waves and windbars and cherry blossoms. We talked about a bunch of ideas, but there really isn't a whole lot of space and we have so much going on it would probably have been too busy with more images. My back piece is my avatar, I have a tiger and a meditating samurai and koi on one leg and a female samurai riding a tiger along with a snake and skull on the other leg so I was OK with keeping it simple.

I started working on my ass yesterday! Tattoo I mean. I’m working on a body suit and that pasty white ass was really bugging me so I decided to get that tattooed too.
I told my artist he could do whatever he wanted, which has always worked out well. My wife said, “ You told him he could do whatever he wanted with your ass?” It’s not as creepy as it sounds.🤔
it didn’t hurt nearly as bad as I thought it would. A little tender around the crack, but not unbearable. He did the outline yesterday, we’re going to color in two sessions, depending on how well I sit.

Hello
in Initiation
What is the problem with the placement? You probably have a specific vision in your mind so you can see where it doesn't fit your vision, but for someone with no idea what you are trying to accomplish, they will never notice.

I doubt anyone would notice, If you want Japanese, get Japanese. I think mixing is probably more common than having 100% of your tattoos the same style. I think I'm the exception. I'm about 95% done with a Japanese body suit.

Thanks, hopefully I'm one of the ones that it isn't too bad for. Either way, I won't be avoiding it as I want them done. My sternum was easy, but the front of my thigh was shit- so who knows!
I filled out a booking form and requested March, so we will see how we go!
Even if it hurts, it's a small body part, so it doesn't take a long time to tattoo.

at least for me, my elbows were not too bad.Don't over think it, you might be surprised how it's not that bad.
True. Different people react differently. I hear how bad the back is, but I almost fell asleep several times when I had my back done.

Happy New Year peoples!
First tattoo for the year, yesterday arvo. Right front forearm.
While I was there Kyle was looking at my arm and goes "sorry dude but we're doing your elbow next" .
Shite.
Next appointment is Feb 10 for the reverse mermaid I missed out on last year. Then it's elbow . Thinking flower as it's an odd shaped gap. See what happens. I still want the sad eye cloud thing. Might whack that on my leg instead.
Nice. Elbows are no fun. Glad I’ve only got two of them!

Whatever the artist is feeling. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone into my artist expecting we would work on one thing on a big piece and we wind up working on something different. Let the creative process dictate.

First, £300 for half a day doesn’t sound high to to me. Presumably she drew it before you got there, had to set up, tattoo you, tear down, sterilize everything. It all takes time and time is money.
However, that is not acceptable for a couple month old tattoo. I’d cut my losses and find someone good who can fix it.
As far as a refund, good luck.

Hi there!
Oh my gosh I am going through something VERY similar.
Big sleeve on calf and ankle on right leg, inside of calf (outside had been done before with no issues).
Been 2 months of swelling and pain, with no answers as to why!
Was on antibiotics and now anti-inflammatories.
Please let me know if you hear anything helpful!!
I’ve had both legs tattooed with no issue, but if it was me, I’d try using cold pacs and exercising the lower legs to try to help blood flow. Disclaimer - I’m not a doctor.
-
How long ago did you get the tattoo? It will get lighter as it ages, but it's hard to say how much lighter.
-
I don’t use saniderm but I exercise the day after getting a tattoo, depending on where it is. I think the circulation helps with the healing. Don’t do anything that stretches the skin where the new tattoo is too much.
I’m no doctor, but after three days, I wouldn’t worry. That’s just me though.

Welcome to the forum. I would suggest reading the forum rules https://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/rules/. EVERYONE is welcome, but it's not a forum for learning tattooing.
From the rules:
- Do not start threads asking about specific tattooing equipment or techniques, LST is not here to teach anyone how to tattoo. Ask your own tattooer, the next time you are getting tattooed. Maybe they'll answer you, maybe they won't.
- Do not start threads regarding closely guarded trade secrets - this will keep LST a much more welcoming place for everyone, tattooers and enthusiasts alike.

It's not done healing hence why I'm worried about the knocked off scabs. I'll just be patient and see how it at 2 months. It's about 2 weeks.
Good idea. If there is an issue, you can always get it touched up. Have a drink, or your favorite unprescribed pharmaceutical and relax.

How old is it? It doesn’t even look like it’s finished healing.

Sorry, that just hurts. I had a Shepherd who passed 10 years ago and I still start crying if I try to talk about him.
