It has been rumored that Dave Lum will only be tattooing till the end of this year.

Hogg hipped me to Dave Lum. I don't know how I slept on him for so long. I just got done checking out the Heavy Duty Tattooing video over at Shawn's blog. Someone help me scrape my brain off of the ceiling. Amazing stuff.

I have never met the guy, but the one thing that I have noticed in all of the interviews that have been posted is that he is seems to be very funny. Much more comedian than guru. I also see that in his tattoos. This one I found awhile back and I think is a good example of his humor.

I've been looking at this Frankenstein daily for about the last 6 months. Such lovely lips. Cheers to everyone for their input on this thread.

Been lurking heavy here for months just absorbing the banter, info, wisdom and laughs. Thought I'd step out of the shadows and say "Hello!" but also, "Thank you" for everything you share.

I started getting tattoo'd when I was about 21. I wish this forum was around back then...but it wasn't. I wish I would have wandered into one of your shops...but I didn't. I made some horrible tattoo decisions early on. I was lucky enough to meet some kind tattooers who have pointed me in the right direction and I ended up on Last Sparrow. This forum has really thrown my head for a loop in the best possible way.

I've thrown some pictures into my gallery. Check 'em out if you like.
