  1. It doesn't hurt at all to get behind your ear tattooed. There's no need to cry. Just don't spout off about things and try to sound like an expert when you are so new to tattooing. OK? OK.

    Spammers

Has there always been a spam problem here? I've noticed three in the last few days. I've reported them to admin, but good lord. They are so transparent, too.
  3. HAHAHA. Uh, I know. Hence the winking face. And a good day to you! *curtsies*
  4. You infect tattoos for a living? ;-) It won't scar, @Gear_Head. Try not to worry!
  5. Yeah. Doctor time, @Faust. GOOOOOOO. Pretty sure you've never seen gangrene if you think that's what it looks like. ;-)
  6. I sent you a message. It's no big deal. :-)
  7. It was the bottom one. The blue one. Looks fine now. But that was after three touch-ups.
  8. @Gear_Head, it was on my right calf. The improvement wasn't immediate, although he was concerned enough to give me an antibiotic shot as well as a script. Things started turning around after four or five days. I had a severe reaction to particular brand and color of ink. My friend/tattoo artist said he lost sleep over it because he was so worried (he asked me to send him photos so he could check on it regularly). It was very bad. He actually stopped using that ink because of it. He used another color and brand, and it was totally fine.
  9. Again, I've had to have a script of antibiotics and an antibiotics shot when my tattoo was infected. It looks sore, but it isn't infected (in my opinion). My infected tattoo didn't scar, but I did lose a lot of color and had to get it touched up. Just hang in there, and don't pick or scratch! The fact that it is in your ditch means it will take a much longer time to heal.
  10. Glad I know how to hide people. Also, @Graeme, you make me laugh often.
  11. Is this possible? If so, how do you do it? Thanks!
  12. Wasn't remotely painful. Didn't hurt at all. Kinda gotta agree with @9Years. You presented yourself as an expert with your post. If you are quoting from other websites, you should say so.
  13. That is really, really weird. Dry heal does sound like the way to go. Have you asked your doctor about it?
  14. Hope this is getting better for you. Best wishes on your big day!
  15. Didn't say Sarah wasn't a good artist. I said she's batshit crazy. I can't stand her, so I can't follow her IG. The difference between me and the people on these reality shows? I'd never go on one in a million years. They are all bullshit. :-)
  16. I watch it, too. I find it amusing. My tattoo artist watches, and we talk about it and mock it relentlessly. St. Marq is one of the biggest morons I've ever witnessed on this show. All of this tattoos look the same, which is truly shitty. Also think Cleen Rock One is a tool. The name alone says it all. And that idiot woman with the crazy eyes— Sarah, I think? — she's nuts. She acted like she was so different when she came back this time, but she was exactly the same — batshit crazy. I have always liked Matti. Hope he continues doing well.
  17. I've had an infection in one of my tattoos. That doesn't look anything like an infection. You have nothing to worry about, @Faust. If it becomes pustulent, oozy, and hot, that's when you need to worry.
  18. Hi, Adrian! Welcome!
  19. I have weird skin. Sometimes mine do that same thing. I got a Prince tattoo the day he died, and it healed much like yours. Give it some time. It'll be fine. Just don't pick or scratch.
  20. You need to talk to an artist. It can definitely be covered, but as @Devious6 says, I don't think you can put a dreamcatcher over it because of the angle and spacing. But the only way to know for sure is to speak to a reputable artist ASAP.
  21. (And you will need to let it heal a bit before you cover it.)
  22. Always do your research and go to a reputable shop. Always. That's what I would recommend doing now. Find a tattoo artist in your area who does coverups well, and go and see him for a consultation. I am sorry you are unhappy with it.
