I don’t see anything to worry about there.
I recently got the beginning line work for a sleeve and we started on the forearm. Man, was it red and irritated. Took about a week but it subsided. Just keep it hydrated and you should see improvement in a day or so.

The reaper side is less readable, and it's darker so will be tougher to re-work.
Price will depend on several factors that will vary/artist. I'd be prepared for a $2-3000 estimate, and that's not including travel costs. Send us links to potential candidates and we can assist with the search if you like.
