  1. I read the milky stage is usually after the scabbing, i've had no scabbing yet. Seems as though there's a few tiny spots where the ink hasn't set and i can see my skin underneath

Either way i'll take my artists advice and wait a month

  2. Had this tattoo done two days ago.

Part of the middle of the logo ( pointed out in pic ) is lighter than the other side of it.

My artist said this is because he had to keep going over part of it and once it heals it should be fine.

The arrow and circle isn't the tattoo it's my n00b paint skills

In real life it looks a bit " cloudy/milky "

  3. Have had a few tattoos done previously with no issues, This is the first one ive had however whilst im lying down.

However when I had a medium size piece on my arm done earlier, half way through i felt light headed and then every light looked really bright.

So I told the tattooist and he said just rest for a few minutes and have some water, within seconds I went back to normal again

I think the culprit was because I wasn't breathing properly as I was quite tensed and concentrating on trying not to move, could also be because I didnt have a sugary snack or drink before the tattoo. ??

The tattoo came out perfectly however

  4. Hi guys. Starting getting some tattoos last month, so far I have 4 small and 1 medium sized tattoo

All of which are meaningful to me. All of which are text ( script ) and one is my star sign. And I had thought about them for a while before getting them.

Is it best to look through my artists portfolio or on the internet ( pinterest ) etc for ideas ?

  5. Agree with everyone else, it's only a minor imperfection, nothing major. I'd be happy with it personally.

The shinyness is normal, I've got a tattoo last month that's still slightly shiney.

  6. Hi guys.

Just had another tattoo ( star-sign on my arm )

The artist had to keep going over the same area because the skin was too thick and said i may have to go in for a touchup once its healed because he didn't want to cause too much trauma to my arm. It looks pretty much perfect, just one line is slightly thicker than the other, should be an easy job to do.

Has anybody else had this experience ? Thanks

You should look for an artist who specializes in black and grey photorealism and go through his works on social medias (you should also look for long time healed works of his). Once you have found one that you are satisfied enough with, go ahead and contact him.

That's up to you and your budget but I would look even in other countries than your in order to find the best artist for a serious project.

Thanks dude. My current guy knows someone who does " Black and Grey " styles.

After my next tattoo, i'll go and discuss it with him.

I'm starting off small for now and may get a bigger one in a few months. Next one will be my star-sign.
