vintage tattoo is really great. so many really cool pictures of old school flash. when i got tattooed by dan santoro back in april, a walk-in wanted to get tattooed by eli and i thought it was cool he had referenced the book to show the customer what he was thinking.

recently read an interview vice did with icp. can't believe they're as huge as they are. apparently jack white reached out to THEM about recording a few songs. blew my mind when i read that.

thanks for sharing the thread, although, other than your comment in there it seems like it mostly had to do with tattoos that are healing. i'm at work and don't always have the time available to search for threads, which is why i made mine.

from time to time, the outlines on tattoos that i've had for quite sometime will raise and i can feel the outlines when i touch the tattoo. it happens sparingly, but it's definitely something that has happened more than once. has this ever happened to anyone else?

with nearly all of my tattoos, the black in them usually get huge mongoloid, gator skin scabs.

does anyone else get huge scabs where they got black ink in their tattoos?

i usually take fridays off and get tattooed. never have problems booking appointments, but an extra day not at work and being able to heal my tattoo.

i was just thinking and the only time i was ever late for an appointment was back in february. i have driven up to burlington ontario to get tattooed by franz stefanik. i had gotten there early and i told franz i was really hungry, so he recommended this restaurant next door. turned out they make everything from scratch, so it took nearly an hour to eat. because of this, we started the tattoo late, but he was super cool about it.

that sucks. i work with the general public, so i know how shitty people can be. as you mentioned, there are also some really great people that you'll come across. i always try to be as courteous and studious in regards to appointments and getting tattooed. this may sound lame, but the people i've chosen to get tattooed by i hold in high regard, and treat them with respect accordingly. they're putting something on my body that will last forever, so why wouldn't i want to be nice to them? i'm also a huge nerd, so i'm always super excited to be able to bullshit with someone about tattoos/getting tattooed, because i don't really got to talk about tattoos outside of a few forums i frequent. from what you wrote, i think the owner handled that very well. kudos to him.

pretty good advice. most of my tattoos have taken me in the realm of two weeks to heal. i'm usually very cautious with what i do while i'm healing tattoos, so i'd most likely not partake in the race. but if it's something you really want to do, i'd say do it if a bunch of scabs have begun to peel.

i can't watch youtube videos at work. someone wanna explain this shit?

knee ditch has been the worst for me thus far, followed by my elbow ditch.
