  1. Figured I'd toss this up in here. Received my tiger painting from Tim Lehi today and couldn't be happier. I can't wait to get it framed and hung up in my room.

  3. Got my first traditional piece from Chad K yesterday who was super cool. Just a simple wolf head on the top of my foot. Didn't hurt as bad as I thought it was going too and I must say it was nice to get a tattoo done in one sitting for a change! Super stoked to get it and am currently thinking about what I want to get on the other foot right about now. Oh and @Wilhell that's a rad piece and props to you for just one sitting.

  9. You never put all your eggs in one basket! With that being said I just can't see getting tattooed by one person simply because there are so many tattoo artists out there that I would love to get a piece from but only so much space to actually get em.
  10. Yes it is! I'll be posting pics as soon as it's competely healed.
  11. Feeling a little blue after completing the half-sleeve and chest plate this past Thursday. Oh why oh why didn't I just get a 3/4 cause I already want it extended! :D
  12. Seeing all these Chad K pieces is making me super excited for my upcoming appointment with him! Seriously some phenominal tattoos kudos to you guys @BrianH and @Rob I.
  13. That is simply outstanding! Going in, did you know what you wanted or did you just let Dean do his thing?
  14. As far as geometry goes..... look no further cause Thomas Hooper is your guy. Blog « Hoopers Electric – Meditations in Atrament
  15. Seen it and congrats on a helluva piece! It makes me that much more excited to get tattooed by him when he comes up to NY this July.
  16. @RScott that looks like it is coming along nicely! Can't wait to see more pictures as it progresses.
  17. Cute dog and what a great story! Glad to hear that your wife is doing better. I wish her a healthy and speedy recovery.
  18. I remember when I first got tattooed I was following the after care instructions to a tee. Aquaphor for first few days and lotion after that 3x a day till it was healed. Now that I've broken out a few times on my arm I've found myself not putting on as much or as often cause the pores wore getting clogged. It was to the point where it might as well consider it to be dry healing and haven't noticed too much of a difference. I think from now on I'll go the route of dry healing and using lotion at my discretion.
  19. There are some outstanding back pieces in this thread and it's ridiculous. @ironchef I think you were at King Ave getting work done on your back while I was having my second session with Chris. I think it was on a Tuesday some time back in May if I'm not mistaken. I wanted to get a closer look at it but didn't want to bother you guys. As for back pieces go here is one that O'Donnell just did. Not sure if it's from anyone here but this thing is unreal.
  20. Small world! I remember meeting you and most important do remember the lower leg sleeve. That thing was insane and the pics you've posted don't even do it justice dude. Thank you to everyone for the warm welcome.
  21. Where are my manners? I've been posting in the forum and I have yet to introduce myself, so here goes nothing. I'm 23 years young and as I've said before currently live at home with the parents in Central Jersey and work in NYC. Growing up I always admired tattoos and wanted to get one mainly because of my fathers small winged dragon that he has on his arm that he got when he was young (wish he'd let me snap a pic). Once I turned 18 I knew I was going to get a tattoo it was just a matter of who, what, where and when. If there was one thing I did know..... it was that I wanted a quality tattoo and was interested in Japanese as I was just fascinated by the imagery and artwork. A few years ago I eventually found out about Kings Ave and just loved Justin Weatherholtz work so I booked an appointment for my first tattoo..... a calf sleeve. I told myself and more importantly my mother that it would be my first and last tattoo. A year later I got an Oni on my other leg from Justin. A year after that I'm currently getting a half sleeve with a chest panel from O'Donnell with upcoming tattoos from Chad Koeplinger, Henning, and Rubendall. So much for only one tattoo. Pics below!
  22. It's 100% douche bag clothing not to mention a bit overpriced. More often then not, a majority of the people that would wear it didn't even know the name or the significance he had in the tattooing community.
  23. I'm fortunate enough to still live at home with the parents and have a good paying job. Figured I'd get a majority of the work done before I move out because that's when reality kicks in and I'm not so sure I'd be able to get it done then. I figure you only live once and I might as well get it done while I can!
  24. Seen that on his Instagram and that piece is so rad!
