I go back in 3-4 weeks for color. I was thinking of using filler cause it can showcase the stars. Here is the filler I am using below. I was gonna get a Chicago flag, but this represents it well. Gonna post pictures in a minute. So it's been 3 hours. I took saran wrap off, and gently wash arm with liquid soap, warm water and a was clothe. According to the instructions, now I just put lotion on and that's it. I am using curel intensive healing, is that OK? Arm is burning but looks good gonna take pics brb. Sitting at great Lakes right now waiting for my half sleeve drawing from Nick. I had an appointment elsewhere today, and I showed up and the guy said he wasn't in the right frame of mind to tattoo. Called Great Lakes, Nick said no appointment so made the 2 hour drive. Hope this turns out well. Excited, nervous all in one. Hope there is an atm close by in case my cash is short. I respect your side as well. It's a fine line. I don't know how to find the middle ground. Maybe having everything set up minus the actual needles..... If that would even work. It is horrible that you get singled out. I treat each person the way I want to be treated. There are a lot of jerks everywhere so just keep your head up. I guess for me the only scary part is the lack of regulations. I am currently looking for an artist right now. It's both scary and exciting because basically it's an unknown. You never truly know what to expect until it's over really. If you want to know what I have looked at in shops is dust on lighting fuxtures/and other decorations in the shop. Also I look at the baseboards. If those things are clean I feel as though they pay attention to detail. Having a dusty environment negates almost the entire sterile field as when people walk passed the dust circulates then falls. Great idea. This is exactly why I wanted to brainstorm with you guys. A portrait isn't really what I wanted but I love my dog so much, he truly means the world to me. OK thanks for the help. I think I found a quality local shop to perform my work. I came into it wrong and instead of looking at price, I went around and just talked to the artists to see who I meshed with best. I found what I think is a good artist, and I was just wanting to know as much as possible before starting. I figured the more educated I become the less stupid I will feel. If that makes sense.
