  1. My reply Hi David Sorry to be a nuisance. Just one more thing before I retire to my bed. Would it be possible to send the money via the Post Offices money transfer. I can do that online, it's a lot more secure and I can send the money straight to your bank account. It's cheaper too as there are no fees. Western Union want to charge me £12.90. All this FBI stuff got me thinking about the great old time I had with Grandaddy Brady (the one who was in the Black and Tans). Every Sunday I used to go round his house. He would reminisce about the good old days. He loved brass bands and was particularly thrilled when I took up an instrument. We would spend many a joyful Sunday afternoon, in the bedroom, tromboning and if I had done really well Grandmammy Brady would give me a blimpey. You must try one, David, if you're ever in Coleraine, its a local speciality. Anyway sorry for being a silly old chatterbox. Warm regards Mike
  2. Just got a reply Hello Mike, Regards to your mail, I will email you copy of your check and guarantee letter as soon as you make the payment. I will be waiting for payment information. David Its a bit curt. Do I detect the slightest bit of irritation?
  3. Thats a good point. I might just ask him that one.:)
  4. These advance fee scams usually follow this sort of pattern. I send the money ($500 is not really that much, when you think about it) The scammer will then contact me, thanking me, but informing me that they've run into some kind problem. And guess what it involves another fee? And so it goes on. I've got my own little plan to scam some money out of the scammer. He/Shes does not appear the sharpest tool in the shed. I've already indicated I would be prepared to pay more for the cashiers check in GBP and the scammer didn't take me up on it.
  5. I sent this a couple of minutes ago. Hi David Many thanks for your email. David, please can I ask a question. What is an FBI guarantee letter and can you send me a copy of one please, just for my peace of mind. It's just that I don't want anything to go wrong when I pay the cheque into my bank account as it is such a large sum of money. I'm so excited and thankful to God what with my fathers money and now this, all in the matter of a few weeks. Please excuse my ramblings but my head is spinning at the moment. I just cant believe my luck. I hope you don't mind me asking, David, but are you a real FBI agent? I ask this question because I love anything to do with law enforcement. My old Grandaddy worked for the Black and Tans, in the Public Relations Dept. My favourite film of all time is about the FBI. It's called Brokeback Mountain, have you seen it? Anyway sorry again for all my ramblings. I'll send the money after I hear back from you. Warmest regards Mike
  6. I had a look at the FBI website but I didn't think it was worth filling out the form as I don't live in the USA. Good on you though.

  10. I've just set up a phoney googlemail account I've sent this. Hi Many thanks for your email. Please tell me what else I have to do to claim the money. I can't believe my luck I've only just inherited £500,000 from my late fathers estate, and now this. I live in Northern Ireland, will that create any problems as I don't think there are any Branches of the Bank of America, near to where I live? Best Regards Mike Brady
  11. Will do I can get hold of some scans of blank Western Union money transfer forms.
  12. Apparently I recieved this email today. I won't bore you with the whole thing. Here's the gist "Federal Bureau of Investigation Anti-Terrorist and International Fraud Division. Federal Bureau Of Investigation. Seattle, Washington. ATTN: BENEFICIARY This is to Officially inform you that it has come to our notice and we have thoroughly completed an Investigation with the help of our Intelligence Monitoring Network System that you legally won the sum of $800,000.00 USD from a Lottery Company outside the United States of America. During our investigation we discovered that your e-mail won the money from an Online Balloting System and we have authorized this winning to be paid to you via a Certified Cashier's Check." Aren't I the lucky one. All I have to do is send $500 via Western Union/Moneygram to cover fees etc. Might have some fun with these motherfuckers.
  13. You crack me up, Ursula.
  14. Ok so it's a Quirke. Pretty close, though.
  15. Sounds great. Sure will. Not long now just over five weeks.
  16. There's a clip on Pathe News about the Bristol Tattoo Club, founded by Bristols Les Skuse. TATTOO CLUB - British Pathé
  17. Correction. I thought I read somewhere that Gene October had died. Apparently not, he works for Brighton & Hove Council in Recycling Dept. Not dead just recycled.
  18. Many thanks for posting. @klyegrey That brought back a load of good memories. I've seen most of the bands on that film, The Clash,The Jam, Subway Sect, Chelsea, The Adverts. I'll even admit to going to a Boomtown Rats gig, even though I thought they were bandwagon jumpers and that Bob Geldof was a massive poseur. During one of the numbers someone jumped up on stage and busted Geldofs nose, blood everywhere . That was worth the admission fee alone. So many of them no longer with us. Joe Strummer and more recently Jimmy Pursey from Sham 69 (he’s the guy who got his arse out near the beginning of the film when Mark Perry was being interviewed) Gene October the lead singer with Chelsea and Poly Styrene from breast cancer last year :(. Hard to believe that was 34 years ago. Great days.
  19. @Iwar I'm getting either a squaw or a cowgirl on a horse on my upper outside thigh. Don't know if we will get it done in one shot. If not a return visit (wouldn't that be awful ;)) On Sunday I'm with Eli Quinters at Smith Street. I'm getting a palm sized rose with a banner with Brooklyn or BKLYN, whatever fits best. What are you getting from Bailey?
  20. @gougetheeyes Prob won't happen this time around as I arrive on the Friday and fly out on the Sunday Evening. Bit of a smash & grab visit. I think Iwar is leaving NY the day before I arrive.
  21. @Iwar By coincidence I'm getting tattooed by Bailey on the 9th June. I'm also staying at a hotel near Ground Zero as well.
  22. The Blue Ribbon Menu is pretty impressive. Surf & Turf Royale $120.00 Twin Steamed Lobsters & 40 Oz. Rib Steak, Spinach & French Fries. I take it that would be for two people?
  23. I saw the No Reservations video on YouTube today. Anthony Bourdain was in it. That mutton chop sure looked good as did the Prime Rib of Beef, King’s Cut.
