ive been so lucky! i got a appoinment with grime when i got tattoed by another artist that helped me out.. about 5 months wait.. but it was perfect cos i needed to plan my trip to the states and fucking save the cash! And Mike Roper.. i stalked some people that knows him and got an email adress!(not giving it out though) i sent him a mail and dident think he´d answer but he did! dident set a date because i havent my trip all planned out yet but im going to Tempe getting a Tiger on my tigh!!!! sooooo stoked!! im a fucking lucky guy i know!.. maybe long way travellers get some special treatment.. hahaha

yes!! :) we sat behind him for hours and just laughed our asses of haha.. tried to talk to him but he just mumbled something and told us to fuck of hahaha

hmm I got some tips! Eat at Emmys spagetti shack, pasta madness! cheap.. and front porch (more fancy) drink really good coffee at Four Barrel coffee and watch all the hipsters beeing hipsters.. Drinking, beauty bar,killowatt,Elixir, up on valencia theres alot of really good divebars just ask around and people will know whats up that day.. and you have too get scarred by the bushman! i saw him down by fishermans wharf when i was there. and City Lights bookstore!! Beatnick historic bookstore.. Amoeba Record store! fuck there is so much stuff! just shop around in the vintage stores.. one on every corner almost.. The Haight!.. you are gonna love San Francisco! best city in the world!!!

this is what i did.. san jose convention probably have one of the best line up of artists i have seen. i also e-mailed a bunch of the artists in SF and explained my situation and most of them were able to work something out.. but i also just walked in to black heart and got tattooed by scott 2 days later.. i had one appointment booked from before so i tried to get everything else booked around that.. i was a bit lucky and managed to get 3 artist in 3 days.. but after 3 full days in a row of getting tattoed i was pretty tired to say the least hehe but fuck it was worth it.. im going back early next year.. first Tempe then SF and then over to NY. trying to get all done in a month ore so. i think that u should get an appointment with someone u know have a long waiting list and then build your other appionments around that date. and if u can,try to get them close to the convention.. and as always at conventions u should come early first day and book the all the ones u want before u start getting tattoed. in SF u should probably stay in the mission district... close to most of the shops and the best bars and people.. :) which artists are u planning to get tattoos from?

I would like some tips on the best tattoo books.. looked thru iron will when i was at skull n sword but dident buy it! so im ordering it as soon as i afford it! also looking forward to the Bloodwork book from Adrian and ATAK,been following the blog and it looks awsome.. which books is a must for you?
