If it still isn't responding and you suspect fungus, your doctor can prescribe oral anti-fungal like used against toenail fungus. It is an oral Lotramin, I think. I had to take it to knock out a killer jock itch that came on due to antibiotics I took. I took a couple months, though (and didn't fix a funky toenail, but that takes up to a year of treatment).
If not itching like crazy though, I seriously doubt fungus - also a fungus will spread.

I will recommend that you hang out, soak in some art, and figure out what a good tattoo looks like.
We can't tell you what to get, but we can point you to good shops one you decide what you want.

I'm guessing that plenty of people on here, myself included, developed an interest in tattoos partly because of seeing them on cool people when we were young and impressionable (however you want to define cool) - but when the motivation for getting them is that transparent, it tends not to work. Take @Pleadco's advice...

You should be going for the "ugly" girls anyway. They are more likely to become hot, than a hot girl is to develop a personality.
