  1. Thanks for the link. I did email him. To my understanding he is not taking appointments for this year. - - - Updated - - - I am now looking @Elijah Nguyen http://instagram.com/inklounge82/
  2. I just got screwed by work... Had my interview with Brett today at 5PM and now I have to cover for my supervisor out sick... I txted him yesterday to see if we can score another interview... :( didnt get a reply... I am sure he is busy.... AAARRRGGGHHH! Looking at some other options in the meantime as well.
  3. I have a mix opinion about this subject.... Yes a tattoo can have no meaning, In the other hand It can also mean something.... When I look at tattoos in a person I can somewhat read the type of person they are by the types/styles of tattoo's on their body.... I am one that is not too much in to the traditional tattoo's.... I like them but mostly not on me... Even when I got my first tattoo's way back when they where all tribal's though I am now covering up most of them :) I like new skool but I do not like "cartoonish" types of tattoos.... I think this style describes who I am pretty well... I like colors and I like them to stand out. I am collecting a new piece from a new artist on the 5th :)
  4. @Scott R, Thanks. I am looking at my options. I am just a bit impatience but I am getting there :)
  5. I scored a consultation appointment with Brett. We are going to discuss the work I want and than set a start appointment if it all plays out. I am excited to show him his first years work.... w00t! :D Thanks again @Joe Shit.
  6. Awesome read! Thanks for the help and boost of confidence!
  7. Rikhall, Thanks for your reply. But I am still confused on what is the difference... How does one tell "this is not going to last"? I am trying to learn. I am going all out on a piece I am working on and saw somebody comment that my artist is new skool to the point of cartoonish....Wish worried me a bit
  8. So I see how allot of people here does not like "new skool" style.. The cartoonish type tattoo... Is that something that's frowned upon in general by the tattoo community? What is the difference between the "new skool" and the old skool? Sorry for my n00bnes and all help is appreciated. Regards, -
  9. ..... Damn ...... Riff Raff Net Worth | Celebrity Net Worth
  10. OMFG!!!! Dude Brett did some work for me like 10yrs ago!!!! My ribs, arm, and leg where done by him... Thanks for finding him. I sent him an email to see if he has any slots avail. Thanks again!
  11. SStu, Thanks for sharing your opinion. I think you might be right... and I think you also answered a small conflict i am going through in my head... What is it that I am missing in my arm, and I think it was the realistic touch that maybe it was what I expected.... Nothing bad. I like her work but maybe I need to seek for a more realistic look. The planets in my arms are the ones that have me conflicted of "do I like it" or do "I not". Maybe in the next session we can talk about it.... If not than moving on... nonetheless I think she did good, I believe in her and her artistic style thus why I decided to go with her.... Though honestly If I knew this forum before than I would probably had seek for help here before hand :) . - - - Updated - - - Thanks pidjones. :)
  12. To me looks good but at the end I know how you feel. I hope that it all comes out to your satisfaction... Getting it zapped sucks big time... Good luck.
  13. Thank you for sharing your experience!
  14. My job has no tattoo restriction so is up to management. I work in the IT/IS department and my manager does not care about tattoos nor he cares if I expose them. My supervisor likes them and she has quite few of her own... She encourages me to expose them. In the other hand the sales department is very strict on appearance so exposed tattoos are not allowed...
  15. Kimmie, Thanks for your reply. I already got my arm worked on by here and is the last set she posted. In that pic the planet has a bit of blood but its now healing and looks good. Instagram Second opinions are a good idea and I am open to guidance from the pro/vets here :)
  16. I wish I found this forum sooner.... :( Most of the good guys are book throughout the year.... I like the artist I am working with I am just not convince that "space stuff" is her forte... I might be wrong though... and it's just me... :) Lets see what else is cooking. I am going for another session soon :)
  17. Enlighten me please. I started a piece on my arm of planets/nebulas/etc.... So maybe I have the concept of "new school" wrong. Thanks for the help.
  18. Thank you SStu. I am after some new school and/or biomech.... Good to have this information.
