Dude, this is the second time you've brought up some derogatory shit about black folks. First time was in the knuckle tattoo thread (http://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/tattoo-101/244-knuckle-tattoos-best-youve-seen-your-current-fav-page12.html).. It's not about "being PC" it's about not spreading negativity or racism just to be funny or get a rise out of people.. I'm sure you joke with your friends about some things, and when I'm around my good friends, we talk a lot of bullshit about pretty much everything, but we know the limits of what's considered funny within our group.. and that's probably where you should keep your love of ignorant knuckle tattoos and whatever else you wanna do to "continue the hatred." I'm sure you didn't mean anything by it –– I'm hoping you didn't mean anything by it –– but it's tough to see through that kind of bullshit on the internet.

My next session is scheduled for April and the wait is killing me. Although it will be a few days in a row, I'm sure after that I will have my fill for a bit. Viewing all the great tattoos that are being posted here and on IG is making my itch unbearable.

I've been enjoying seeing the tattoos Ross Nagle has been doing with the "outline" around some of his tattoos which I think makes it really stand out also with the little amounts of color.

Walk-in Customer: "Can you do a woodchuck with a monocle, handlebar mustache riding a tallbike w/ an owl holding keys?"
Tattooer:"Sure thing, let me sketch that right up
    *a few minutes later...*
Tattooer:"Here's the stencil, you ready to start?"
Walk-in Customer: "Hmm-my bicycle-riding gentleman woodchuck with his owl friend sure came out looking like an eagle fighting a snake on a skull"
    Tattooer:"Sorry, that's how I draw 'em"

Hahaa! I forgot about the armband thing.
In the last few years the number of people asking for hand/neck tattoos when they have (insert single digit number here) tattoos has increased to the point I've considered bringing back the 'illegal' story.
Taking 20 minutes to explain to a whiny teenager why the world isn't fair, twice or more every day? Or taking 20 seconds to tell them it's illegal? Tempting, for sure.
So we just say "Sorry, we don't do them" Which is more fun than you'd expect, especially as I get to say it while I'm tattooing someone else's hand/neck.

People have eyes like potatoes. First of all I think the design could have be drawn to fit the space better and fill up the space better and with the amount of detail in the tattoo bigger is always better and yeah there is nothing that spectacular or newsworthy about it for that matter.

I know this thread has been going on for awhile, but I'm new here, and wanted to share my experience. If I'm out of line feel free to call me an asshole. I'm not a tattoo artist, but a tattoo receiver or some are using the term "collector" these days. I was a bit of a hippie when I started getting tattooed, and the shop I went to played a mix of things, but more metal/punk than anything else. It was usually loud and vulgar, and not something I was very used to. It was a place I really wanted to fit in though so I dealt with it and it grew on me. That has been about a decade ago, and I still listen to a lot of metal and punk. To me it seemed like one of those rights of passage, classic tattoo shop things. All the guys there were always totally cool and welcoming, but it was very clear that this was their world you were being allowed in to and if you didn't like it you were free to go somewhere else.
