    Another great thing about Spotlight. Hand painted flash on the walls. Goldfields, Dave Gibson's Deluxe, and Spotlight are three shops I've been in where all the flash was actually painted rather than reproduced. It makes for an impressive look that's seldom seen . Or maybe I'm not getting around enough.

    got to spend some time down there when Juan was working there. That shop reminds me of what shops used to look like (although it seems to be trending back to that) I don't smoke but I love it that they smoke in there. Something about green soap and cigs. that smells just right. Bob is the real deal.

    First off , I believe the desire to create is innate in most every human. As a tattooer I'm constantly blown away by a continuous stream of amazing work. Seeing all the great work inspires me to keep pushing!

    Whenever I have a larger person on the table, I make sure all the legs are secure I've been using wooden leg tables for over 15 years. Had a leg break a few years ago. Realized all the legs were loose. So I double check them now and have had no problems.

    Yeah Dude, First few lines of the tattoo Filip ripped a line right into the crack. Had to take a break just a few minute in, thought I was gonna pass out. Had to lay on the floor for a minute to get my shit together! Then it was on. Opted out on color for a few reasons. 1. Time factor due to travel. 2. I like Filip's black and grey work. 3. I like a balance of color and black work. Easier on the eyes and less chemmies in the body. Cheers! Dean

    Look forward to it. Have some old tat books myself that I'd like to review for members on the site. I'm with ya on being in the "90's" now . skipped myspace just got on facebook and I don't carry a cell phone unless I'm riding. Figured might as well join the rest of the world. Now I have to get an i phone or something so I can fully take advantage of all this tech stuff. Looking forward to gettn' down with some folks that can't get enough of this stuff. Dean Schubert

    Hard to have a favorite, But getting my backpiece tattooed By Filip Leu in Switzerland was a big event . Two days work ,five days in between sessions . Fourteen hours total. July 2001

    Got some photo's up on here. Got a lot of work I haven't shown in 5 years or so. Then I'll load up the facebook page. Having been a Hermit pretty much over the last ten years, I'm stoked on rejoining the world, making new friends, sharing work and ideas. And and some stink talk too of course. Cheers!
