  1. With the prevalence of the internet and its use across all generations, reddit is becoming a huge community.... for better or worse. Anyhow for those redditors out there, I figure you are at least aware of /r/tattoos. I am really curious to see what your thoughts are on it. Is it a good finger on the pulse of tattooing? Does it only catch fad or popular trending styles of tattoos? Do you think /r/tattoo holds any value in the tattoo community or is it too watered down with public opinion?
  2. Also I just noticed that little small empty spot at the top of the flame, above his hand. I have a mole there that I see he skipped. Is it not a good idea to tattoo moles?
  3. I'm getting to the point now where I feel like I'm droning your ears off complaining about how bad it hurts. It was bad. 4 hours and I had to tap out. I was frustrated with myself, I really wanted to see that whole side finished.
  4. Look at this blackness! It was a bloody mess. Kongo Yasha is really going to pop once this background is done.
  5. Heading to Dana Helmuth this Monday for more back work. Color and shading here I come. Woohoo!
  6. I just learned something today. Didn't know it had a name. The thighs really aren't that bad. It's all about that ass crack.... You'll be fine.
  7. @Duffa that is awesome. What kind of schedule do you think you'll be sticking to to get it done?
  8. Just take a few days off. If you are a heavy lifter, I'm sure you could use the deload anyhow.
  9. Great video, thanks for sharing. Looked like that guy was in a good amount of pain at the one point, haha.
  10. Holy shit @youthcrewalex I stared for a second trying to figure out where that was on your body... awesome. My browser cut off one of sides of the pic so I only saw one ear and didn't realize what it was, ha.
  11. Don't pretend like you won't be begging to see my cheeks when they are done, haha :P @ian @CultExciter Looks great @WeRnDoG I'm looking forward to seeing the full thing.
  12. July 15th at noon, so it's going to prove to be a long day.
  13. @RScott He says he is good at pushing people and he's right. He was going to double up on a lot of my lines during the butt session but I couldn't take anymore. It's no fun when you make the decision that you can't handle anymore, but then you hold for just a little longer, and it turns in to way more time. Your leg sure is a beaut.
  14. I can take some barbituates from work. I'm sure the DEA won't mind.
  15. Totally agree about the man's asses thing. I don't understand why no one around me (in real life) wants to see my glorious glutes.
  16. Looks great, ironchef. I have 2 and I am pretty jealous of yours. I'll trade you a signed one for 2 of your out of print ones :P
  17. Muscle relaxer is a damn good idea. Are they even supposed to take away surface pain? I might use some on my next butt session. I got real tired of trying to not flex my butt.
  18. You're right, his instagram has a lot of that. Don't know if it's part of the tradition though, or just something that he favors.
  19. I did go through with it, and luckily the majority of it wasn't too bad. The area around my crack was rough, but everything else was normal wear and tear with the occasional, "Why do you hate me?" line.
  20. It's hard to get a good picture because of my bulbous glutes. Another session down with Dana and I am so happy. The experience was pretty damn unique. My right side was done first, sometimes it felt light just like he was running a fine tip pen down the back of my leg, barely any pain at all. The butt crack however. Holy bejesus. It sapped my stamina big time trying so hard to not involuntarily flinch. By the time he got to the left side, I was done. Luckily he was fast as hell once we switched sides and it was done in no time at all. It was a real quick 3 hour session. Several flaming asshole jokes were made.
  21. I'm definitely not one to say who or who isn't worthy of a tattoo. To each their own, especially on the tender bits.
  22. Fuckin A. The anxiety is going to kill me way more than any needle point pain. I've decided to nut up for the first glute/ham session and not take any painkillers. I watched that Horiyoshi 3 video where he said that men get full body suits to prove that they are men and they can take the pain. This is the mindset I'm going in with. We'll see if it changes, haha.
