  1. I get a panther tattoo cause it's badass. Not because it's a soul window. End of story The fuck did I just read
  2. He was stoked to do it which is always great. He said barely anyone gets them off that wall. Which is a shame considering they had Richard stell, Greg Christian, Tim Lehi and the Murphy dudes flash plus some other good stuff
  3. Thanks guys, I can't believe how it turned out. So stoked on it.
  4. Got tattooed by lester at electric ladyland in new orleans this weekend. A piece of flash of their awesome spider murphys collection. Got to see his mike wilson backpiece, such a nice dude and awesome tattoo.
  5. Decided Togo with spider Murphy's flash. Looks badass. Pics Sunday, Lester did a bang up job
  6. Trying to think of ideas for a new Orleans related tattoo. Thinking voodoo, but just want some ideas in this category. Thinking raven/crow, shrunken head. Etc.. Something thatll look work in a traditional sense
  7. Alright consult on Friday with Lester, weee
  8. Just got this bad boy done by Miguel Olascuaga and also picked up a print Good dude and tattooer. Sorry for the bad pic, still a bit bloody
  9. What about webs on knees? Any negative affiliation there?
  10. So after being a bum the past year other than skating, I gave crossfit a try the other day. They started me off with a small warm up and the baseline workout. I got my ass kicked. Very humbling. Apparently I didn't do too bad. 100 jump ropes after sprints got my calves crippled though.
  11. Yea I'll proly wait maybe late 20s. I feel I'll be more well established in my career, hopefully moved by then because in my small po dunk town it's harder for jobs. We shall see. I am still a young gun
  12. hey now I have marketable skills, I'm a licensed radiologic technologist. :D (after 2 years of hell, I feel like bragging) all good solid advice, from both ends of the spectrum. I shall wait and acquire squidpants
  13. Classic designs, can't go wrong really. Just make sure they do them well
  14. I agree with everyone. Ive always liked that appeal of not having people know I have tattoos unless I permit them to by what I wear. The decision will be to wait, but I think the longing to be tattooed has popped this into my head. It really has been too long :(
  15. that. is. golden. my friend. that might be what I end up getting steve tiberi to do
  16. I agree. I have a leg I'm in the process of getting filled that I can focus more on to distract from my arms at the moment. BUT every time I look at my arm, I'm like damn that'll look sweet with some more traditional pieces. I work in the operating room on certain days, which it's cold as shit and no sleeve rolling will be done. Other days, I'm glad I have that ability. Congrats on the title, btw!
  17. So I graduated a couple months ago and had told myself throughout my program "once I finish, get a job, then I'll finish them". That time has come, and the paychecks are coming in, but I still have some reservation. I have to wear long sleeves regardless since the ones I have now peak out. I'm completely on the fence between what I really want to do (finish the rest of my arms) and the responsible side (I'm only 22...) Obviously, there shouldn't be any rush since I have plenty of areas, but I just keep thinking how much better it'd look with a finished product so to speak. Thoughts, opinions, how you came to the decision?
  18. My buds getting tattooed by Lester and I already sent Steve an email. He said he's thinking he'll be there the weekend I am (fingers crossed). Now to think of something to get tattooed...
  19. I'm an x-ray tech... the obvious one would be a radiation symbol, but meh that just wouldnt fit with the style I like. I'll probably end up with a skull and crossbones or something
  20. Either him or Lester. Steve if he's gonna be there that weekend. Hopefully I can get a cool Nola related walk in. If not I'll be back there again in ocober
  21. Going again next month this time with cash to tattooed. Stopped by last go around and It was an awesome shop with some cool flash. Who's some good artists to get some tattoos from?
  22. Oh for sure, I still expect a certain amount of humanly respect out in public BUT on the flip side when you get tattooed you accept the stares and move on. I work in a hospital, and even the older generation loves it. Whether it's an old lady who it reminds them of her sons/daughters tattoos or some old dude with a gnarley eagle from way back wants to shoot the shit. That was as a student, but now that I'm getting paid I have to cover up :(
