  1. Turns out that dry healing is so much better for my weird skin. Wish I'd known this about 25 tattoos ago. Hahahahaha.
  2. I think we may have scared her or ticked her off. Either way, I hope she gives it more thought.
  3. So far, so good with the dry heal. This may be the way forward. I have an appt. on the 30th. Really excited about what's next ...
  4. I would really think long and hard about this. It really isn't a very good tattoo idea.
  5. I am trying a dry heal for the first time on my bicep. Finished my half sleeve on Thursday. Saniderm came off Friday morning and so far, so good. Any tips besides keeping it clean?
  6. I really don't think that font in that size is going to age well. I would go a bit bigger or change fonts. But this is all up to you. Good luck!
  7. Thanks for the help, you guys. I ended up taking it off, and I'm just keeping it clean and trying a dry heal. I think the saniderm would work great, but the upper arm is an awkward place for it with all the movement in that area. I probably would have patched it up if it I had some more at home, but I didn't. May order some for next time, though.
  8. I'd get the tattoo and skip the holiday.
  9. @irishowl, you don't have any tattoos yet, do you?
  10. It's too small, and it needs a comma. And I'd go bigger and not use a crown. What does the crown have to do with it? A deerstalker would make a lot more sense. I don't love it, and I love Sherlock, too. But if you love it, I guess that's all that matters.
  11. Thanks, Rob! I am reading on the websites, but I can't seem to find a proper answer. It's just the edge, and most of the new tattoo is covered. Hmmm. Not sure what to do.
  12. Nice! That's my Executive Chimp, Tarquin. He's very fancy! Hahaha. I like your guy, too.
  13. I'm using Saniderm for the first time. It peeled off a bit on the back of my arm. Not sure if I should remove it and proceed as normal or just clean the bit that's exposed and leave it on. Thoughts?
  14. These were all selected and drawn for me. Part of my leg collection — a work in progress. I'm definitely a collector. :-)
  15. All pictured by Josh Henderson, Brainstorm Tattoo.
  16. @Happynuff3, hey there! I have all kind of styles all over my body. I have two half sleeves that I've tried to keep sort of consistent in theme, but otherwise, I get what I like and just find the best place for it. I think that will look great on you. Go for it.
  17. Me, too. I think it feels GOOOOOD.

    Hello

As long as you like it, that's all that matters. :-)
  19. My guy had a cancellation this Thursday, so I'm finishing up the half sleeve on my right arm this week. Can't wait.
  20. If I intentionally curate and decide what tattoos to get on me and where (which I do), then I am a collector. It's so weird to me that this is such an issue. To each her own, however. Call yourself whatever you want!
  21. Yes. I believe it is 10 or 15 posts. Prevents spam, you know?
