  1. Welcome! Are you draped up and dripped out, know what I'm talkin' bout?
  2. YESSS! A Sick Of It All dragon never gets old!
  3. And welcome. http://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/general-tattoo-discussion/915-tattooers-little-no-tattoos.html
  4. Sheeeeeeeeeeeiiitt. GET IN THAT ASS LARRY. Full butt color protrait. Cause let's be honest, it's gonna look like doodoo.
  5. I'd get a color portrait tramp stamp on Ink Master. At least I know it would wash out in a year or so and would be an easy cover.
  6. My dude Matt Brotka drew this and posted this on instagram a bit of a time ago. Very relevant. Photo, obviously from his account.
  7. Dave Regan added some maple leaves to the namakubi he put above my knee at the beginning of July. I apologize for the awful day after picture. I really can't sing Dave's praises enough. He's a talented and funny fellow that makes getting tattooed a joy.
  8. You should see the text messages @CABS and I have back and forth. I'd probably be ban-hammered. :)
  9. I wouldn't say that man. You're just new around here. Alot of us are not new to tattoos at all and we spend alot of our time around them. I think honestly, if we knew a little more about you, and the things you like and don't like, that would be a much broader and less trolley approach. I've been tattooed by Eli Quinters, like a lot of people on this forum (and people here have been tattooed by Shige and Horiyoshi 3) so it's a little like slapping us (and some really rich tradition and history) in the face.
  10. Lynch mob on the way. Eddy Deutsche is in my top 5 favorite tattooers of all time. I'm getting to the point where I don't care who has a bigger name or the most Instagram followers. People like Mike Adams and Amanda Wachob have thousands upon thousands of followers but I could care less about their work. (YES, I AM PUBLICLY SHIT TALKING.) I'll take Mike Roper over just about anyone everyday. Edit; I'll also take Joel Long, Mike Dorsey, Andrew Conner, Mike Rennie, Will Lollie, Virginia Elwood, Bart Bingham, John Henry Gloyne, Josh Arment, Dave Regan, Matt Brotka, Katie Davis, Ishmael Johnson, John Rippey, Eric Brooks, Jason Phillips, Carolyn LeBourgeois, Sean Perkinson, Chuck Kuhler, Aaron Coleman, Josh Brown, and a gazillion other people who are well known or completely unknown that kill it constantly. Tattooing is a rich community. There are so many people that do good things that it is impossible to narrow things down like people were able to 20-30-40 years ago. There used to be like 2 conventions a year, and now there is one every weekend. I suppose what I am saying echoes what @CABS had to say. The experience and the radness of the person will trump just about everything. I'm a young tattooer, and I fully realize I'm not very good at this right now, so I will do my best to make sure my friends get a cool experience and can always look at those blownout lines and holidays and smile saying "That was a good day."
  11. Yes! Will is rad! I just talked to Kim the other day (she owns the joint) and they have such a great shop.
  12. I'll be up your way next weekend! - - - Updated - - - INDUBITABLY!!!! (the Virginia driving to NYC part, you guys probably just want dim sum)
  13. My cat was judging my beverage of choice the other night. (A good many of you have already seen this.)
  14. Look at that. I always thought they hiked it up on weekends. Just like they inversely lower the cost on weekends in DC. Thanks!
  15. Yeah, but good for them! FST is obviously fantastic, but the ultimate goal in life is progression, and as long as you aren't burning a bridge or opening up across the street, it can be a good thing. Frith Street is still solid, and it isn't like they will probably never sit in there from time to time.
  16. Queens is slightly more isolated in terms of public transportation than the other burroughs, but if you want to make a full day out of it, you can get there via bus then get on the metro. You're gonna be looking about 2 bucks a ride (average between weekday and weekend rates). But yeah, cabs are everywhere if you just get tired. I'll back up there in two weeks for some Kings Ave hangage and...ahem...the New York City Comic Con. <nerd alert>
  17. So @CABS that means you need to come to Virginia. Hang out. And let me drive you up there. Settled. Hahaha.
  18. @CABS where there is a will there is a way. My experience and probably also with @Hospitelli and @BrianH is that he is more accessible than one might think. But I probably shouldn't say that. Because I want all the appointments.
  19. I'll say it here. I'll say it again. Name the five best rappers of all time: O'Donnell, O'Donnell, O'Donnell, O'Donnell, O'Donnell. He spits hot fire.
