It's still on, it's held for 24 hours. Im going to reapply today and try to leave on for 5 days.

It goes right up to the Bone in my wrist. The bend is where the issue is.

I've used tegaderm on several of my tattoos. This latest tattoo is close to the first and the tegaderm won't hold. Can I partially cover a tattoo with it and just dry heal the exposed part? Wasn't sure if it would buildup dust around the edge.

Ok, I mostly just got tattoos I like, but not really sure of what the style of this would be. Also, it's mostly black and grey with the shades of blue. Would it be best at this point to stay black and grey? I eventually want this to be a full sleeve. I'm just flatout unsure where to go with this theme. Almost thought of a sandglass with skull piece on my forearm. I was thinking I could get two to three medium pieces and fill in gaps with something to make them flow. I've been slowly adding over the past year to this. Ant thoughts? The blue rose in my elbow crease is getting touched up, he had to work around a skin problem I had there. Pictures removed for some reason, will fix later.

Sounds good. I've read a few places (obviously, the all knowing Google) that movement could be a factor. But, apparently that is not the case, which is fine by me.

I haven't had any blowouts so far. Out of curiosity, I got a pretty large elbow piece. Does movement have much, if anything, to do with blowouts?

You win. Really wasn't bad at all. Call me crazy, but it was maybe a 4 to 5 on the pain scale. Only thing that is sore now is a small portion of the elbow bone.

I'e only used Tegaderm I bought a roll of saniderm for my elbow piece. I took the first piece off after 24 hrs and replaced. I noticed it's not leaking much plasma after the first 24. I saw sanidem says you can put lotion (i have aveno and hustle buttr) on the tattoo before you derm it to keep it from sticking . Anyone else do this? I haven't ever done it that way.

Lol, I can go with the leave it alone advice. At worst, it just stays as is I suppose.

There is a bump (almost feels like a cyst) doesn't hurt at all (except if I push pretty hard on it). Any thoughts? Few options being 1) leave it alone 2) let doc poke it. I don't think it's an infection. It's not warm and no redness.

I let mine air our a few hours after the tattoo, wash it with Dial antibacterial soap, air dry for about 20 minutes and apply tegaderm. Generally 24 hours later it's ready to replace (looks like the tattoo has melted under it). Repeat the above process and apply another one. I leave the new derm on for five days. After that one last antibacteral wash then a light coat of Aveeno every few hours. Derm tips You can overlap it some Always make sure the derm goes past your tattoo at least an inch (to cover for leaking) when you apply the 2nd derm it doesn' have to have as big of a gap.

I'm hoping the detail will hold up over time.

Got a blue rose tattoo, I like it but not 100%. Only about a week old. I feel like it just needs more dark blue. I'm not a huge fan of the blank space.

Elbow creasehas been annoying I keep getting acne under the tega (I'm always prone to acne there). So it pops and I have to change the tega. Today is day 5. I' About to just take this one off and leave it be.
