  1. Any pics of your back piece? I’m a musician as well and I’m curious to see this image.
  2. Ask again after 6 weeks have passed. You’re way overthinking this.
  3. That’s normal. A week ago I started a new tattoo. For the next 2 days the ink seeped out through the open wound. The lines became undefined and looked much wider than they originally did. You need to let the wound scab up and then let the scab naturally come off. That’s going to take 2-3 weeks at a minimum.
  4. Nothing at all wrong there. The tattoo looks great.
  5. Itching is part of the healing process. IMO, there’s no rash there. It’s just a tiny bit of slight redness
  6. You’re getting only the neck area lasered, correct? Because the chest piece is badass...
  7. I have had a smaller but similar scab in the crook of my elbow before. Just give it time and don’t pick at it!!
  8. I’m no artist but I would think that the back of your forearm and the top of you hand are absolutely fixable by a good artist. The hand is still vague enough to make something out of and the forearm has plenty of canvas left to work with too.
  9. In my experience, no tattoo comes out 100% exactly how we might want it. The artist might interpret it somewhat differently etc.... So be prepared for the possibility that it might be slightly different than how you see it your mind.
  10. Absolutely!! This is the one that wowed me. More because of what’s going on in the background.
  11. I’ve decided on Andrew Labanaris for my Japanese style Dragon. First session on Thursday. http://ironhandtattoo.com/andrew.html
  12. Maybe I’m missing something then. What is it you are seeing/not seeing, because I think his work looks great. I’m not saying I love all the tattoos on his page. There are several that I would not want tattooed on me but overall I like what I see there.
  13. Well, I have about 1k to spend on this. No reason I can’t get something amazing. Right? What did you think of Angelo’s work from the link I posted?
  14. I have 2 ideas... I have a half sleeve on my upper left arm in a bio-mec type style. I was originally going to have the artist that did it, finish it. But truth be told I wanted to try to save a little money because I paid a lot for the half sleeve. It’s good work and I’m happy with it but it cost a ton. (I know I shouldn’t look at it in a monetary way but....). So that might be something I’d like to talk to an artist about doing. Secondly, I was also looking to get an oriental style dragon on the opposite shoulder cap. Something like this.... It doesn’t necessarily have to be this exact dragon, but something in that style. My thought was to have the right arm be a variety of tattoos that can later be connected into a full sleeve.
  15. What do you guys think of this artist? I think his work is pretty damn good. Click on the artist Angelo. http://unicornink.com/
  16. Yeah, I’m sure the offer is counting on that! I was planning on this going on my shoulder cap, which I think I could last 8 hours on. The inside of my bicep...no way. I was done after 3 hours when that got done. When I look at Josh’s work, some pieces are ok and others are really good. My half sleeve was done at Evan Olin’s shop by one of his guys, Larry DiGuisto...I’m happy with the work but it was expensive.
  17. Was there something you didn’t like in Josh’s work in particular? Or is it that you feel 8 hrs is a lot for the artist to maintain a level of quality?
  18. A friend/coworker goes to this particular shop...that’s how I learned about them. Here is the owner/artist’s page and work. Go to Josh’s page https://inkme401.com/home I’m curious to know what you/everybody thinks of the work. I haven’t committed to anything yet.
  19. Looking into getting an oriental style dragon. A local shop does a “Tap-Out” Special. A flat rate for up to 8 hrs of work or until you Tap Out. Maybe something like this.
  20. Variations in color like that are what make tattoos look more realistic to me. You wouldn’t want to to be 100% solid color. Real life color seldom happens that way in nature.
  21. You’ll have to wait until it fully heals and see what it looks like. Worst case scenario is that it might need a touch up. I’m not seeing anything to worry about there.
  22. That tattoo is beautiful! There’s nothing to regret there that I can see.
  23. I always feel like they aren’t finished! Haha! I have a 1/2 sleeve and I can’t wait to finish it. Just don’t have the money right now.
