  1. Here are shots of my right leg. Marie is going to do something on the back of my thigh and I'm hoping to have Greg Christian do something at some point on the inner thigh. My left leg is mostly in progress and I'll post that one when Kore finishes it. Lady head by Marie Sena Star/cross/wings by Steve Byrne Day of dead groom on back of leg by Kore Flatmo
  2. Thanks! I can't wait to go see her again. Shouldn't be too long. I need to get in there before my kids start wanting to go swimming this summer.
  3. Got my shin and knee done by Marie Sena in Dallas at Saints and Sinners. Can't say enough nice stuff about Marie and my experience with her. She's doing some 2nd layer/blast over stuff on one of my arms next and then she's doing the side and back of that thigh. Can't get a good picture of my leg...its either too dark in the house, too weird outside, or has to be too far away to get it all in the shot. You get the idea though.
  4. @Mark Bee - I know I'm 3 weeks late to the party, but here are my favorites: Steve Byrne - Instagram Bailey Hunter Robinson - lady | Copper Beehive - Tattooing by Bailey Hunter Robinson _MG_3183 | Copper Beehive - Tattooing by Bailey Hunter Robinson IMG_4531 | Copper Beehive - Tattooing by Bailey Hunter Robinson
  5. Yeah, I think you have to go to his older site under Archive - Larger Work, but I can't figure out how to direct link to that specific picture for you. Archive – Tattoos | Plurabella Tattoo Studio
  6. Getting my leg filled in by Kore Flatmo. I know it's been said many times, but visiting Plurabella is such a freaking great experience. Still have the back of the thigh and the shin to do, but that's all I could take. Day 2 we just worked more on the cover up he's doing on my arm. I dont have any good pictures of that yet.
  7. I've been to the shop a few times, but haven't gotten anything there. If I was to get something in Dallas it would probably be either from Dean at Elm Street or Mark Thompson at Obscurities. Dean has been updating some great stuff on IG lately. Instagram
  8. If for some reason you don't like Elm Street, I have a friend that got some really nice stuff from Mark Thompson at Obscurities. Check out his stuff too. Dallas Tattoo Artist » Mark Thompson Tattoo Or if you can wait until September go walk around Oliver Peck's convention and see if you like anyone there. Oliverpecksfriday13
  9. Got this from Steve Byrne on Saturday. Couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Sorry for the crappy iphone pic, I'll try to get better pics once it heals.
  10. As awesome as Mason's tattoos are, he's an equally awesome guy. I don't have any work from him, but I've visited with him throughout the years while getting work from Kore. Can't go wrong with Mason...
  11. Thanks everyone! And @Brock Varty and @reverend1 if you guys haven't eaten at Take the Cake on Hamilton, you HAVE to go there next time. It's really close...maybe closer than any of the other places and it's delicious. It's a bakery, but they serve lunch from 11am- 3pm. So we were able to grab a quick lunch before we started for the day on Friday. I wish I had gone a few more times.
  12. @else Thanks! I'm couldn't be happier with how it turned out. I'm so itchy right now though!
  13. Got back on Saturday from my last session on my back from Kore Flatmo. Glad to have this done! The back is no joke... Had an awesome time there as usual and will be back for some cover up work after summer.
  14. @ShawnPorter Wow, that collection is awesome! Not sure if Upper Playground is on anyone's radar here, but they're having an "up to 49% off sale" starting tomorrow until Super Bowl Sunday and they have 2 Pushead tshirts. Their sales are normally 50% but the 49% is obviously a nod to the 49ers. Upper Playground | Mens T-Shirts
  15. Yep, Brenda is doing a large cover up on my wife's back.
  16. We like the Blue Jay diner as well...they also have great tshirts for $10! Also on Hamilton, there's a place called Honey. It's a bit pricey, but their food is awesome. It's a bit on the fancy side, but not so much that you should stay away from it. And we went to a fancy/hipster taco place on Hamilton called Tacocracy and it was really good too. Really dumb name, but for hipster tacos, they were actually really tasty. I'm not sure if it's open yet, but there was supposed to be a taco place opening up right under the studio on the street level.
  17. The cab ride from CVG to PluraBella is right at $40 each way...maybe $43. I rented a car the first time I went to see Kore, but after that, I just take a cab there. And there are plenty of great places to eat in walking distance too.
  18. Got this elephant head mandala from Seth Wood on Friday at the Star of Texas convention in Austin. Couldn't be happier with it and with meeting Seth.
  19. Yeah, when Kore first sent me the study last year, I was BLOWN away... I couldn't believe how great he made the addition look. Then fear set in. I had no idea how bad the back would hurt. When Kore shaded that rose on the bottom left, it sucked... And I felt that spot yelling at me for awhile. I have the other rose on the right side in that same love handle area still to go. Not looking forward to that at all.
  20. My Mariachi back piece that Kore Flatmo is doing. @David Bruehl did the bottom guy in color and Kore is knocking out the rest. Kore and I are both pretty pumped with how his black and gray work makes David's color work really pop. I'm pretty excited to finish this and hoping we can finish in February.
