Shit didn't they just release a new album? I was kinda bummed on them last time I saw them play... He went on and on about how when he was growing up, he was never one of the "cool kids" and then went on to give a shout out to everybody at High Voltage for hooking him and the band up with awesome tattoos.

He also looks like he has explosive diarrhea. I think the plastic wrap on his head is the least of his worries.

I use yelp pretty frequently for eating out, everything else on there is crap. We've got a shop down the street that gives their customers discounts to write good reviews for them, as well as offer 10% off if they mention yelp...However the fuck that works. The shop owner wrote a bad review about me on a fake profile that happened to only review tattoo shops...All one star reviews except for his shop, and when I called him on it, he said "I have no control over what yelp publishes". I told him he was a fucking liar, and that I was going to come down to his shop to have a word with him, and mysteriously the profile disappeared. Such a bummer.

I just noticed in the second picture, you can see where this dudes track marks cut through the tattoo. Pretty sweet.

I took these photos a while back. The guy got them done at the Pike, he couldn't remember who did them, but it was at Bert Grimms. The frog is an old gang tattoo, from La Rana, I've actually done a few of them here, but haven't taken any pictures...

I'm pretty stoked on The Walking Dead. I had to get the entire season on stupid Itunes since I don't have tv set up at my house, but it was worth it. I'd talk more about it, but I don't want to spoil it for people who haven't seen all the episodes...

The longest I have tattooed is one that started at 11:30 pm and ended at 9 in the morning. Every time I'd start a line, the girl would jump off the stool and start screaming. And crying, and blubbering, and freaking out. The tattoo was a pretty huge coverup, and the payoff was so good that I just kept at it. I probably could have finished the tattoo in a few hours tops, but she moved and jiggled so much it took forever. When she first started freaking out, I told her she would have to come back another time when she could sit still, but she was a long distance truck driver and was going to be driving away the next day and never coming back or whatever. So we had to finish it that day/night/morning. Did I mention I was working a double shift, and had been at the shop since noon, tattooing all day? It was pretty awesome.

That reminds me of a time I was in a grocery store buying toilet paper or something, and after the bagging dude saw that I had tattoos, he decided to show me his tongue that he had split down the middle so it looked like a lizard tongue or whatever. I almost barfed.

We had a customer a while back who must have misunderstood both our oral and written care instructions we give out, and ended up keeping their bandage on for like 2 weeks. I didn't see what the end result was, but I sure heard about it. It sounded pretty nasty.

Religious and Spiritual Tattoos

This tattoo is on a customer of mine who is a fairly devout christian. I'm jewish, so I was naturally curious about the design. He said that without judaism, christianity would not exist, and he can't understand all the christians who speak poorly of jews and the jewish culture. I didn't realize that this was still a big issue out there, but maybe he rolls with a different crowd than me, so...Anyhow, here's a picture.
