  1. You're in luck! Knees like these can be yours for the one-time, low, low price of their hourly rate multiplied by the size of your knees! Simply, go to Atlas Tattoo and ask for the "Mike from Vancouver" special! Tell 'em Mike sent ya! Also, go to the "Wolf & Bear's" food cart down the street from the shop for a falafel, and then subsequently feel a profound sense of disappointment with every falafel you eat all other establishments for the rest of your days! Also, I'm jealous of most of your tattoos!!
  2. It's almost as if you're talking about my knees!
  3. Please PM @steve1461686340 with your shirt info (size and male or female) along with your address.
  4. Very interesting. I got both of my knees tattooed 3 days ago, and they're both healing incredibly well, the swelling has virtually stopped entirely, and I even biked to work today easily with no pain / discomfort / issues at all. That being said, these are the first tattoos I've ever iced in the days afterward, and I've made a HUGE effort to stay hydrated in anticipation of an annoying healing process.
  5. Nick's such a rad dude and a great tattooer! - - - Updated - - - I still haven't uncrossed my fingers hoping that you and Kim will be able to make it down to Portland with me next week while I'm getting tattooed by Cheyenne (and hopefully Dan too)...
  6. Thanks, @Cork! That lady head was done by Freddy Corbin a few years ago, so I'm definitely not covering it up. :) Last I spoke to Freddy he suggested putting a lotus underneath it and surrounding it with a halo of sorts so that it can be integrated better into the whole piece. The background is pretty much just going to be a bunch of flames. It's going to be wicked cool!
  7. Finally got some mediocre pictures taken of my Fudo Myoo backpiece done by Chad Woodley here in Vancouver. We're going to get started on the background in the fall, and I'm definitely looking forward to getting it all finished up! Also, sorry about my butt!
  8. Word. I can relate to this 100%. There's no better feeling in the world than shattering someone's expectations based on how you look with a solid proven track record and a strong work ethic.
  9. Thanks so much, @Euchlid! Fortunately, I work for one of Canada's leading boutique digital media studios where tattoos are not only accepted, but are actually seen as an asset in certain situations. I've, obviously, had to work quite hard to get where I am, but it's definitely pretty great to be in a creative working environment that doesn't pass judgements on me based on aesthetic decisions I may make with my body.
  10. I just booked an appointment with Cheyenne Sawyer to destroy my knee with a black & grey rose in September. Way into it. He's such a good dude.
  11. Absolutely. Thanks so much, man. All I had told him beforehand was that I wanted a mandala on one hand and some bold geometric tribal-style work on the other, and when I showed up at Rock of Ages he blew my mind with this idea he was kicking around. I couldn't be happier with the way it turned out. Also, he had a ton of great recommendations for vegan restaurants in Austin and was kind enough to drive me and my girlfriend to his favourite spot in town when we finished up! Overall, it was a way cool experience.
  12. I know that I've said it before, but Dave is a king among men. I can't wait to see your back as it progresses, @Graeme
  13. Also, and my apologies for missing this the first time 'round, but the "PERSIST" script on my upper knuckles was done by Norm, the bonji Om was done by Chad Woodley, and the "KNOW LOVE" on my lower knuckles was done by Trevor Taylor.
  14. Thanks, @graybones @Iwar @sighthound @Pyzik !
  15. I know I already posted this picture when I first got these done, but I figured I'd include a photo in the actual "Hand Tattoo" thread as well. Here are my hands. Applied by Thomas Hooper.
  16. Thanks, man! I've had fun filling up my legs with a bunch of little bangers during my various travels. :)

  18. Here's the result of my recent trip to Austin... Instagram My hands are currently swollen to the size of boxing gloves, so I had to borrow the above picture from Thomas's instagram. Super happy with 'em.
