1. Yeah it is. I'm pretty proud to have a Zeis inspired tattoo.
2. I got this yesterday from Ryan Cooper Thompson at Freaks On 39th in Kansas City, Missouri. It's from his sheet that was published in the Milton Zeis "Tattooing As You Like It" book.
3. But don't fall in love! Sorry, Tubes reference.. I couldn't help myself.
4. Exactly. I think I would feel like I missed out/guilty if I traveled that far and didn't get at least four tattoos.
5. I totally agree. Too much tweaky stuff can kill a tattoo, but that wheel is just right.
6. I really hope to make the trek to Smith Street within the next couple of years, the only problem I have is that I can't see myself going that far and not getting tattooed by all four of them. And I'm poor. Hence, the couple of years part.
7. That shit better be playing when I'm there in October.
8. I've been re-watching last season to get myself ready. I'm pretty pumped.
9. @Jennifer Stell, is there any way I could get a loose schedule of early 2013 from you? Will the Tulsa shop be done by then? Looking to make a trip from Kansas City!
10. I laughed when I saw this piece on Instagram, but your post made me lose my shit hard.
11. Boodah This was a stellar read! I'm jealous that you got such gnarly tattoos from awesome guys.
12. It's not too bad on the MegaBus. They have wifi and shit. It's only about ten hours. I'm thinking sometime around March.
13. I started getting tattooed at 17. I was lucky enough to have parents who were cool. I didn't pay for any of first two tattoos. One was a birthday gift, and one was my high school graduation present. I don't regret any of my tattoos, I was lucky to be smart enough to do my research and go to a great artist.
14. Dan, Amtrak is actually about twice as much, and only about an hour or so of a shorter trip. I still have a lot of planning to do about it. But, I'll pm you when I get stuff more figured out.
15. Firstly, I'd like to thank @CultExciter for this rad thread. Second, I have an appointment at the end of October with Josh Cruse to start my left arm sleeve. I have started the email process to get tattooed by Chad Koeplinger. I'm also planning on making the trek to Chicago early next year. Hopefully to hang out with our own @Dan S, and spend some time at CTC. I'm probably going to have to take the shitty MegaBus up there. Which I am not looking forward to.
16. The lettering is stellar. It's my favorite part.
17. I've been waiting on my copy of "Tattooing As You Like It", for about a week. That picture just made the wait so much harder!
18. Thanks! It makes my moobs look good.
19. I finally got my shit together and updated my gallery, you guys can make fun of my tattoos now.
