Nice blog. Here's a Pupils set list I picked up after a show that Dan wrote out. I have a ton of live shots from the mid 90's and more current stuff I'll scan and post at some point.

Yeah I'd for sure like some interviews with some of these face tattoo guys. This guy and maybe Earth Crisis face would be a good start. I think the guy in jail with the boot on his nose might be dead.

Yeah depending on the placement sleeping can be a hassle, I just got the ditch on my arm done and figuring out how to lay has been a bear.

If you're going to use photo gear you might want to look into a mini C stand with a turtle (removable) base, really sturdy. You can also get a baby base plate that will mount onto the stand and you can screw it to a wood plate that you can pad. To make it really adjustable you can use what's called a knuckle that attaches to the stand and the base plate. Matthews makes nice stuff if you're shopping by brand.

The Green Sand Beach in Hawaii is one of only a few in the world. The sand consists of spheres of olivine, or peridot. Each grain is a clear olive green. White sand primarily is quartz, which is an uncolored silicate (SiO2), and other light-colored minerals (white sand beaches in Hawaii, on the other hand, are almost entirely made from smoothed shells, or calcium carbonate, rather than inorganic minerals). Olivine is another silicate, though with magnesium and iron in its crystal matrix. The metals are responsible for the characteristic color.

While I'm far from an expert, I would like to add my tattoo artist who did my thigh that took about four hours told me to ice it with an ice bag to take the swelling down and that seemed to help a great deal too.

For sure, and it's just as green as the picture shows, only green sand beach in the world. We also went to a black sand beach and a few other amazing spots. well worth the long plane ride.

Hello, my name is Calbee, I've been getting tattooed for the last twenty years, but due to a severe lack of funds still have tons of nice big pink spots. If you're in Chicago, tattoo out of somewhere other then your kitchen and wanna get into some trouble hit me up. I love giving tattoo artists vague ideas and seeing how they solve a visual problem. I can normally sit for about 4-5 hours without to many breaks, longs walks on the beach where we talk about our dreams and feelings afterwards are optional. I've also been a professional photographer for the last twenty years too so if you need a good portrait hit me up. Most recently it was a giant pot leaf about the size of a dinner plate done by a kitchen magician on a guys back in Michigan.
