Am pondering *becoming* inebriated just to fend off the boredom! This town I'm in right now SUCKS!! I can't wait until I leave here at the end of the month!!

@Graeme - I just totally had to come back and look again! That's so awesome! How do you stand to cover it with a shirt EVER?!?!
-
-
so, is all your work only on one leg now?
Nope - Raven-girl and Steve-Tiger are on the right, Chad-Panther is on the left.
Will be getting the left knee done (with Steve Byrne again) in March.

...says the person with tattoos by Steve Byrne and Chad Koeplinger!
to quote @Scott R "I feel I have better tattoos than I deserve. Thanks everybody."
-
@else, you know you essentially have a vishnu panther? The cobras, the type of crown it's wearing, even the marks over the third eye... all point to vishnu. The crown is one that Krishna usually wears.
And I LOVE the thing so much! It completely exceeded my wildest fantasies about what I might get from Chad...
Before I went to see Steve Byrne I was worried - how could I ever love another tattoo as much as I love that one?
Luckily, it turned out not to be a problem! Love the tiger too!

Getting tattooed by Ron Henry Wells today. Insanely excited. I THINK the partially drawn wolf head he put on IG this morning (part of a larger Pic Stitch-ed picture) is for me. We'll see.
So INSANELY jealous!!

Okay, I'll totally buy the chicken dinner for this, but you're gonna hafta visit Scary Gary to collect, it's the only place I go for chicken!
Be careful what you wish for @Dan S - I may well take you up on that! I <3 chicken!
-
Yeah, I don't think it says "Koeplinger" either - but can't quite make out what it does say...
-
I'm in! Bought a bottle of Bulleit on my way home from work... Haven't had any bourbon in over a month and somehow became a lightweight. Trying to figure out what to eat to soak up some of this whiskey...
-
Scrubs are the best!! Highly recommend them - generally loose - generally soft cotton... wash well, don't mind wearing them into the shower for a minute if I'm stuck to them... and cheap!

@ChrisvKI hitchhiked a bunch in Europe in my late teens/early twenties
me too! I have some great memories from hitchhiking... I would *die* if I found out my daughter was doing it, but I remember it as super fun.

Every town and I do mean every town has at least one good, maybe not great, person that can do a good tattoo. It may not be your " style" but can tattoo a technically good tattoo.
Kind of an oxymoron there. The best tattooers are not at shitty studios for a reason! A famous shop does not become famous ( whatever famous means) by doing shitty tattoos!
Firth Street is a famous shop and has what people might call famous people tattooing there. I know if you say Valerie or Stewart's name at a tattoo shop, 90 percent will know who you are talking about! Especially with Instagram and Facebook.
There's some really tiny towns out there with really bad tattooers! I stay in tiny towns for a living and I ALWAYS look!

Speaking of placement @Delicious you're lopsided and need another lady head!
LOL!!

I'm aiming to start my hitchhiking adventure the 15th of march! the date is coming closer and closer and I'm beyond excited to turn my daydreams in a reality!
I started a blog today with a little introduction post. On this blog I'll be posting all my stories from the road, as well as pictures.
Feel free to check it out!
I bookmarked your blog - I can't wait to read along with your adventures!

Do you have any general ideas for upcoming tattoos? I can tell you what people are going to suggest, Panthers, Eagles, Roses, and Lady Heads, which if you are good with that you are in the right place, but if it's not your thing a little insight into your ideas might help get the ball going.
I was reading this on my phone at work and burst out laughing - and then had to try and explain what was so funny...

Im from Libby, But as of late i reside in Havre where i am attending School.
Wow! That is small!
-
Im from a small town in montana so Tattoos and their terms are mostly new to me.
Where in Montana? I've never been there but I used to draw maps of Montana for a living...

@else your knee looks awesome!
Since Steve Byrne is the topic of conversation lately, I think it's time I stop lurking and contribute with my first post. I got this from Steve on my elbow a few months ago while he was in California at Port City. Great guy. Loved getting tattooed by him. Definitely plan on getting more tattoos from him.
Really nice! I remember seeing that on IG.
I'll get tattooed by him again too (booked in March!)
-
@else Did you get that this weekend? Steve tattooed a panther head on my hand on Sunday.
I saw him Friday night :)
-
try not to worry. I'm sure it's ok...
-
I've already got my panther in the contest thread... I don't want my big cats to have to fight it out with one another!

@else Awesome tattoo by an awesome tattooer! I'm hoping to get my elbow done by him at the SLC convention (have yet to hear back from him about setting something up but fingers crossed). Enjoy that cat!!He was so easy going and fun to get tattooed by too! And seriously, gentle as a kitten, I was scared about the knee but it wasn't at all bad. I think the Chad Koeplinger panther hurt more. I would go back to him ALL THE TIME if I lived near Austin permanently.

The worst part about healing the ditch that I remember was when I woke up the next morning and my arm was bent and stuck to itself. Peeling that fresh tattooed skin from fresh tattooed skin and straightening out my arm was the BEST!!!Oh Lord! That sounds AWFUL!! You poor thing!
-
I like tapatalk better too... the only thing is that it shows me as "online" here all the time ever since I logged in on it on my phone. Oh well, first world problems...
-
me either lol
wanna be my friend?
sure!
Thread for posting in while inebriated.

Oh! you make me laugh! I still have *most* of a bottle of bulleit in there... and to think, I used to be able to put back SO MUCH liquor and not even feel it... I've become such a lightweight in my old age!
Gonna go and pour a shot in Graeme's honor! Congratulations on leaving your soul sucking job my friend!!
